The 2013 National Scout Jamboree identity is more than a logo or a patch It is the entire collection of communica-
tions that surrounds the event From press releases to venue signage, from gateway graphics to brochures, this guide
serves as the single resource for properly communicating the 2013 National ScoutJamboree sub-brand

The 2013 National Scout Jamboree identity consists of three components— the primary logo/patch, the secondary
logo/patch, and the tagline The 2013 National Scout Jamboree identity components are defined as follows:
Primary Logo/Patch—Consists of the copy “National Jamboree, Summit Bechtel Reserve,” a fleur-de-lis, the
year “2013,” and a four-color mountain climbing/kayaking illustration This trademark is the event’s primary graphic
device and should be used for all primary identity applications, i e , brochure covers and temporary signage
Secondary Logo/Patch—Consists of the copy “National Jamboree, Summit Bechtel Reserve,” a fleur-de-lis,
the year “2013,” and a four-color mountain climbing/kayaking illustration This trademark is the event’s secondary

Sponsor Logo Placement If sponsor logos are used in conjunction with BSA logos to co-brand an aspect of the 2013 National Scout Jamboree, the sponsor logo shall not exceed 100 percent of the size of the BSA logo used The BSA logo must have clear space surrounding it of at least one-fourth of its total height The sponsor logo must match the BSA logo in terms of color usage (i e , if the BSA logo is reproduced in a single color, the sponsor logo must be reproduced likewise) Sponsor logos should never precede the BSA logo in the layout
