Well over 50 per cent of Victoria’s taxis are hybrid vehicles and that impressive number continues to grow as we strive for 100 per cent. Victoria boasts North america’s first hybrid double-decker buses and first carbon-neutral airline. Victoria is also recognized as one of canada’s greenest cities when it comes to new buildings and has more leed standard buildings per capita than any other city in canada. furthermore, Victoria is home to the world’s highest scored leed Platinum development and British columbia’s first carbon-neutral hotel.
