Students, Siblings, Parents and Friends, Welcome to Ohio State’s annual Sibs & Kids Weekend. We think our campus is an exciting place, and I am pleased you are here to share the experience. We have scheduled a number of fun and interesting activities over the next few days for you to get a taste of Buckeye life. I hope you find this weekend to be rewarding and enlightening.

Sibs & Kids Weekend gives students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to invite important people in their lives to campus to get an up close look at The Ohio State University. I find Buckeyes are proud of their school and their accomplishments, and know they like to “show off” the experience. It is important that you have a window into the collegiate lives of your loved ones in the Buckeye family.

Our mission in Student Life is to create an extraordinary student experience. I am proud of our vast network of faculty, staff, alumni, and friends who work to support that effort. Only through partnerships between the university and you and your family can we address the complete development and success of the entire Ohio State community.

Please enjoy your time at Ohio State. We hope to see you back here often.

Sincerely,Javaune Adams-Gaston, Ph.D.Vice-President for Student Life
