Welcome to ThinkFun 2010!

Twenty five years ago we began a journey with nothing but our commitment to each other and a shared certainty that the limitless possibilities of mind challenging games could help shape a better future for us all. Along the way, our company, our games, and our loyal consumers have grown together, each benefiting from the culture of problem solving and critical thinking that is the trusted hallmark of the ThinkFun brand.

Today, ThinkFun is the world leader in logic puzzles, brainteasers, and strategy games. Renowned puzzle expert Jerry Slocum has called us “the best puzzle company in the history of the world.” We’d like to think he’s right, but one thing we know for sure is that now more than ever, the world needs what ThinkFun brings to the table.

Of course, that includes a number of fabulous new products for 2010. From Chess like you’ve never imagined it before to a race against the clock that will tie you up in knots, ThinkFun’s latest lineup of high-quality games will challenge and excite players of all ages – just as all of our products have done since the very beginning.

Our goal has always been, and continues to be, creating games to grow with. From our first game, the Hexidecimal puzzle, to the world-wide award winners, Rush Hour and Zingo!, we create games that will challenge players at every stage of life – from young novice to seasoned puzzler.

Our junior games focus on rudimentary problem solving, basic language, and mathematics skills. As kids mature from young players to adults, there is a constant need for more challenging games to utilize their growing skill sets while continuing to ignite their sense of fun. Our games meet this need by offering even more advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills. Our wide assortment of brainteasers challenge both the young and the “young-at-heart.”

At the center of it all is our continued commitment to teaching the children of today how to be the leaders of tomorrow.

For the last quarter century we have worked to create the best games for you. Throughout the development process, safety remains the most important component in every ThinkFun game. We are cautious and meticulous in developing our products, and are adamant that any manufacturer with whom we have the privilege to work shares ThinkFun’s core values of passion and integrity. You should never give a second thought to whether a ThinkFun product is safe for you and your children.

The last twenty-five years have been quite a ride, and it’s been our pleasure having you come along.

Best wishes this and every year from the ThinkFun family.

Choosing to be Toot or Otto is the first step in this fun, 2-player game. Next, players try to spell the name they’ve chosen by dropping letters into a vertical grid. Anticipating and responding to the opponent’s moves helps each player reach their goal. Palindromes make spelling the words easy—so junior players can focus on refining their winning strategy.
