I want to take this opportunity to personally THANK YOU you for participating in the FirstAnnual Scott Medlock Invitational, benefiting the Pat Tillman Foundation. As many of you areaware, this is something dear to my heart and that I’m deeply passionate about.

While my career as an artist has afforded me the pleasure of meeting many wonderful,talented, and successful individuals whom I consider mydear friends and family, two people who hold a veryspecial place in my heart are Pat and Marie Tillman.

Pat was a humble and unassuming person, constantlystriving to improve upon himself. His extraordinarylife, as a husband, professional football player, scholar,and his service to his country, are a testament to Pat’spassion to excel in life.

It is has been an honor and privilege to be a part ofyour lives and I would like to extend to you my deepestappreciation for joining me in celebrating the life of PatTillman. Each and every one of you helped in makingthe event a big success and thank you again. Allproceeds from the Invitational will go to support thePat Tillman Foundation.

PAT TILLMAN’S CLOSEST FRIENDS AND FAMILY created the Pat Tillman Foundation

following his death in April 2004. The mission of the Foundation is to carry forward

Pat’s legacy by inspiring and educating young people striving to make positive change

in themselves and the world around them. The Foundation, a 501c(3) tax-exempt

organization, continues to grow each year with the support and dedication of those who

are inspired by Pat Tillman’s unique ideas, thoughts and actions.

The Foundation’s flagship program, Leadership Through Action™, was created at Arizona

State University (ASU) where Tillman was an outstanding scholar-athlete. The focus

of the program is to give carefully selected students, known as Tillman Scholars, the

leadership skills, tools and funds they need to tackle real-world problems.

Leadership Through Action™ empowers college

students and challenges them to take action in

their communities. The program helps students

recognize, evaluate and create innovative solutions

to a social problem of their choosing. Working with

their mentors, business and community leaders,

students develop leadership skills through the

creation and execution of social action projects.

Leadership Through Action™ requires students not just to talk about pressing social

issues but commit to action. Building off the success of the program at Arizona State

University the Pat Tillman Foundation plans to expand the reach of Leadership Through

Action™ to university students across the nation, creating an exclusive network of

Tillman Scholars who lead with courage, conviction and character.

Pat Tillman’s life was driven by loyalty, strong convictions, independent thinking and

compassion for others. With continued support from events, generous community

members and corporate sponsors, the Pat Tillman Foundation can continue developing

young leaders of tomorrow who carry on Tillman’s legacy by making the world a better

place through their actions.

Scott’s career as a stand-up comedian

and actor was launched at the

Montreal Comedy Festival in 2000.

Following the festival, he had three

consecutive talent holding deals – two

with ABC and one with UPN. Scott has

appeared on “The King of Queens,” “ChelseaLately,” and “Sports Soup,” as well as in

specials for Comedy Central and VH1.
