Reimagining the restaurant and bar worldJoining the ever popular Sleep Sets are three brand new Eat Sets – interactive installations based on restaurant and bar spaces that will engage and inspire.

3Stories

Café

3Stories will be challenging visitors with an uncomfortably familiar play on the traditional concept of the British "caff", updating the iconic model to fit the new age of digital sociability and transposing luxury materials into an everyday space.

In the spirit of “the caff”, the designers will be working to foster a sense of com-munity with Sleep + Eat’s exhibitors and attendees, displaying constantly updat-ing, unfiltered communication on a café style menu board for all to see.

Shalini Misra

Nightclub

With the recent demise of many clubbing venues within the UK, Shalini Misra aims to provide people with a place to party.

Inspired by the bright colours, bold and playful patterns and pop music of the 1980’s, the designers will pair nostalgia with new technologies to present a he-donistic escape within the Sleep + Eat event.

Expect glossy surfaces, neon colours and optical illusions.

Sleep + Eat is the only tailored boutique hospitality design event in Europe.It’s where hospitality leaders meet the world-class designers, consultants, architects and emerging talent creating across hotels, restaurants and bars.

Take a moment to relax and network at the award-winning Sleeper Bar, this year designed by Jun Aizaki of CRÈME Design.

The bar, supported by Sleeper magazine, furthers CRÈME/Jun Aizaki Architecture & Design’s explorations in traditional natural dyeing processes.

An evolution of the CRÈME Indigo Chair (2017/Stellar Works), the bar will showcase the intensity and beauty of the indigo finish when dyed on wood – as well as provide a vibrant space for Sleep + Eat visitors to meet and drink.

Nowhere provides a better platform than Sleep + Eat to connect with thought leaders in the European hospitality design industry. At a time that we see boutique brands building up a presence on both sides of the pond, our design for the Sleeper Bar emphasises the growing trend for connecting the recognisable and the new; the traditional and the progressive, the native and the international.Jun Aizaki
