Hot water from an external hot water source circulates through the
vaporizer’s waterbath. The vaporizer’s helical LPG process coil is heated
by the hot water causing vaporization of the LPG.

The design utilizes a dual helical coil configuration. One coil contains steam for
heating the waterbath and the other contains LPG to be vaporized. A steam trap
removes the condensate. A thermally controlled steam regulator maintains the LPG
vapor temperatures within a desired range and prevents boiling of the waterbath.

an external hot water heater for the thermal energy for vaporization.

The AFC™ Blender is a fully packaged, intelligent
Gas-Air mixing system designed to replace all existing
mixing technologies. AFC™ stands for Active Flow
Control. The AFC™ uses a control system that
combines both ‘feed forward’ and ‘feed back’ control
for fast response and unparalleled accuracy.
Feed forward control loop calculates the required air to achieve the desired mixing ratio and adjusts the airflow control valve accordingly.
Feedback control loop compares the actual set-point value (i.e. Wobbe, BTU/SCF, KCAL/Nm3, etc.) of the mixed gas with the desired set-point value and makes any necessary adjustments.

The UTILI-pAk™ SNG Module is a fully packaged proportional SNG blending system designed for CityGas,
peak shaving or large industrial applications. The UTILI-pAk™ contains discreet compartments for air
compression, power distribution, LPG/Air blending and controls.
The heart of the UTILI-pAk™ is the AFC™ blender. The blending system mixes two parallel streams of LPG
and Air that replaces or augments the supply of natural gas to an industrial facility, a CityGas grid, or for
Peak Shaving. The SNG Blending system is virtually maintenance free. EEI offers both standard and cus-
tomized control system schemes to optimize and automate operation of the system.

The AQUA-pAk™ SNG blending Module is a packaged, “plug and play,” SNG blending system. The
packages combines our AQUA-GAS® LPG vaporizer and AFC™ SNG blender on a common skid. The design
includes all of the piping and electrical interconnections between the two main subsystems. Also included
is first stage pressure regulation and filtration of the air and the LPG as well as an air surge tank and the
SNG downstream pressure regulator. The maintenance/control module is standard on the AQUA-pAk™.
It contains the control panels for the vaporizer and SNG blending.

Lpg Transfer compressors
LPG gas compressors are primarily used to transfer liquid
LPG through vapor displacement and for vapor recovery
from LPG tanks. Many LPG piping systems provide NPSH
conditions that are not well suited to liquid pumps. Since
compressors are only exposed to vapors, they are not
affected by poor NPSH conditions.

Duplex and Simplex LPG pump configurations transfer
liquid LPG at a required stable flow-rate and pressure to
any LPG vaporizer or SNG blending system. Positive
displacement rotary vane pumps are standard; centrifugal

special applications. Includes a by-pass assembly,
isolation valves, check valves, pressure gauges and a pilot
operated back-pressure regulator.

SuRE-LiTE™ F Series Flare StackMoDEL F100
The flare stack allows the SNG System to be operated for
test or regularly scheduled preventive maintenance reasons
without requiring the LPG/Air to be introduced into the
pipeline or industrial facility. The SURE-LITE™ design
incorporates the virtually windproof RETAIN-A-FLAME™
flare igniter head. The flare assembly has an electronic
ignition system allowing both local and remote activation.

gAS-TRAp™ dM Series demisterMoDELS: DM250 - DM5000
The vapor Demister-Separator removes entrained liquids and particulate
contaminants commonly found in LPG vapor. Use of the GAS-TRAp™
reduces maintenance and downtime of downstream LPG consuming
equipment keeping valves, orifices and burners free from particulate
buildup. The coalescing element provides maximum impingement area for
the vapor flow, ensuring high efficiency.
Methanol injection System
Methanol is used in LPG storage tanks to inhibit and dissolve
hydrates that form in water contaminated LPG product.
Methanol readily distributes itself in both vapor and liquid
phases making it an effective solvent for such applications.
The methanol injection system makes it easy to inject the
methanol into the Storage Tank via the TTU (Truck Transport
Unloading) piping network.
Railcar unloading Tower
Railcar towers are used in conjunction with an LPG
Compressor for railcar loading and unloading applications.
The railcar towers are supplied complete with standard hard-
ware ready for installation. Contact EEI for scope of supply
details and optional components.

TTu Station
TTU stands for Truck Transport Unloading. The station
includes all the necessary components and features to make
the transfer of LPG from vehicle to storage tank fast, conve-
nient and safe. EEI offers the TTU Package in two capaci-
ties—Standard and High Capacity. Optional features such as
“Bottle Filling” (e.g. for forklift cylinders) and Methanol
Injection Systems, are available.

c Blenders are housed in an iSO Module. Our blenders provide accuracy, flexibility and most importantly eliminate the headaches of old fashioned “mixing valves.” Capacities to 2000 Nm3/h and 22 bar g in a single unit are available.
