V. Prosedur Percobaan

1) Siapkan alat dan bahan

2) Teteskan larutan sampel pada masing-masing sendok

3) Gerus bunga mawar dengan menggunakan lumping-alu.

4) Setelah bunga mawar cukup halus, tambahkan alcohol sebanyak 10 ml kemudian gerus

kembali sampai cairan dari gerusan bunga mawar tersebut keluar.

5) Ambil ekstrak cairan dari bunga mawar tersebut pada gelas kimia atau gelas plastic.

6) Teteskan masing-masing 2-3 tetes ekstrak bunga mawar pada masing-masing sendok.

7) Lihat dan catat perubahan warna zat setelah ditetesi dengan ekstrak dari bunga mawar.

8) Ulangi langkah no 2

9) Ulangi langkah no. 3-7 dengan menggunakan kunyit dan bayam merah secara bergantian.

Catatan:

Cara pembuatan indikator alami dari bayam merah

a) Bayam merah diiris kecil-kecil, rendam dalam air suling yang sudah dipanaskan,

b) Di tunggu sampai air berwarna ungu.

c) Saring dan diamkan dalam suhu ruang sampai dingin.

d) Indikator dapat disimpan dalam lemari es jika tidak digunakan.
