Welcome to Week 8 Term 1.

I had the pleasure of attending our P&C AGM last Tuesday. It was wonderful to see so many parents in attendance with a keen interest in the school and its future.

The next meeting scheduled by P&C will be the 10th April at 3.15pm in the staffroom.

2017 P&C Executive – Thank You

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing executive for their dedication and hard work throughout 2017. The below people together with many other committee members have been instrumental in enhancing opportunities for the children who attend our school. We appreciate your hard work, effort and commitment to our school.

ZONE NEtball trials Lailah, Lillee and Madalena represented BNPS at the Eastlakes Zone Netball trials on Wednesday, 14th March. They were put through various forms of skill testing throughout the day. All girls displayed great sportsmanship and put in a fantastic effort. Well done girls! Young Leaders Day Conference Our leaders took part in what was an inspir ing and mot ivat ional conference at t he Sydney Convent ion Cent re on M onday, 12 th M arch. They heard from four different speakers throughout t he day, played volleyball and Book or Cook , l istened to a l ive DJ and had a boogie at t he Silent Disco. A fantast ic day was had by all who at tended.

Music Bus Open Day What a great day students had check ing out The M usic Bus. A ll students from K-6 had a chance to t est out all t he inst ruments and had lots of fun. Special congratulat ions to Codie Baker who was the proud recipient of a 1 year M usic Bus Scholarship.

Paul Harragon Cup Friday, 16th March saw 11 of our finest football l players come together as a team to play in the Paul Harragon Cup at Windale Football Ovals. Unfortunately, they didn’t make the semi-finals but played with amazing determination and strength. Congratulations Team Belmont North on an outstanding effort.

Coles Sports for Schools is back to help Aussie kids stay fit and healthy. When you shop at Coles, you'll receive Sports for Schools vouchers that our school can exchange for sports gear. The uniform shop will now be open WEDNESDAYS from 2:30pm-3:10pm.

CANTEEN CLOSED EVERY FRIDAY – Unfortunately due to insufficient volunteers our canteen will be CLOSED every Friday. If you can commit to 1 or 2 days per month and would like to volunteer please contact the school office and we will pass your details onto our Canteen Supervisor.

P&C MEETING – The next P&C Meeting will be held on the Tuesday, 10th April, 2018 at 3:15pm in the Staff Room. Getting involved in your child's school can be a rewarding experience. There are many types of school activities and parents/caregivers are always welcome to participate.
