PAM PAUL Miss Pam Paul of Hurst, Texas, is making her debut at Harding College and on the Harding stage both in one semester. A drama major, she played several roles in productions at L. D. Bell High School, where she was graduated last spring.

For her portrayal of Rhoda in "The Bad Seed," she received the Best Actress award and as Baby June in "Gypsy" she was named Best Supporting actress.

Growing up as the only girl among four brothers may have unknowingly qualified her for the tomboyish role of Annie Oakley. She is the third member ofthe family of Mr. and Mrs. James Paul to attend Harding. The 19-year-old lass is a member of Zeta Phi Zeta social club.

TOM LAWSON Tom Lawson, a 19-year-old sophomore speech and drama major from Southaven, Mississippi, received the Best Supporting Actor award for his portrayal of J. N. Armstrong in the Homecoming Pageant "To Walk Upon A Rainbow" on the Harding stage last fall. Also, he played in the productions of "The Blind" and "Under Milkwood." For his efforts, he was named Freshman Dramatist of the Year at the annual awards banquet of the speech department.

Lawson sang bass in the A Cappella Chorus last year, and enjoys hunting as a hobby. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Lawson of Southaven, and is a member of Pi Kappa Delta national speech fraternity.
