Jennie got breakfast I ironed the napkins & made a Custard Pie also a chicken Pie washed out 18 dish towels, got the dinner and washed up the dishes Jennie at home I went over to Manns. Helped Pap to get his satchel packed all as well as usual. Wednesday, January 2, 1895 cloudy Bertha & children Murphy children Got up early Pop & I had Breakfast I finished Mark Twain and took it Home washed out the napkins. Alverda and I went over to town She had her teeth filled & I sent her Home with Mr L- I went to Miss Hughes and Back to the dentist and did not get home till after five. got me a new dress and purse worked on Luenes shirt Pop gone all well Clara called. Thursday, January 3, 1895 Stormy cloudy, Got up late I tended to the Horse & chickens Jennie got Breakfast Then she went to get her dress made. I ironed up the table linen and got ready & went down & took my Painting Lesson commenced on my Glass got letter from Pop looks stormy tonight All well commenced a Stocken. Friday, January 4, 1895 Rained Blew Stormed. Got up late. Jennie got breakfast I ironed the napkins & made a Custard Pie also a

chicken Pie washed out 18 dish towels, got the dinner and washed up the dishes

Jennie at home I went over to Manns. Helped Pap to get his satchel packed all as well

as usual.

Wednesday, January 2, 1895

Bertha & children Murphy children

Got up early Pop & I had Breakfast I finished Mark Twain and took it Home washed

out the napkins. Alverda and I went over to town She had her teeth filled & I sent her

Home with Mr L- I went to Miss Hughes and Back to the dentist and did not get

home till after five. got me a new dress and purse worked on Luenes shirt Pop gone

all well Clara called.

Thursday, January 3, 1895

Stormy cloudy,

Got up late I tended to the Horse & chickens Jennie got Breakfast Then she went to

get her dress made. I ironed up the table linen and got ready & went down & took my

Painting Lesson commenced on my Glass got letter from Pop looks stormy tonight

All well commenced a Stocken.

Friday, January 4, 1895

Rained Blew Stormed.

Got up late Oh my how it Stormed all night & almost all day the River is just

booming Wrote a letter to Pop & sent him two papers Mrs Wilkins & her Sister came

over to look at the water. This is the Storm of the Season. The railroad Bridge is out

or unsafe for travel my head aches all the rest are well-

Saturday, January 5, 1895

Got up late fed the Hourse & chickens worked on my Spanish work. Jennie went

down to get her dress fit Mrs Wilkins Sister came over for the Paper I sent it up to

Pop Alverda wrote to Mabel. Rained this afternoon All as well as usual at Home all

day.

the wash went over to Manns She came over here also got three letters one from

Rain Rain

Oh my it commenced to Rain again last night Got up late Jennie got the Breakfast I

done up my work & ironed some Went over to Wilkies Worked on my Spanish

work. Jennie and I got a hot Supper of Eggs & hot Biscuit it Has rained almost all

day. Jennie at Home All is well as usual

Clear.

Got up early fed the Hourse & chickens made Biscuit for Breakfast got my drawer

work in my drawers done. got a Letter from Mary. Put my other drawer leg in the

frame knit the foot of Alverdas Stocken longer went down to Mrs Beeds & down

town all Well Jennie at Home-

Got up early fed the Hourse & chickens Jennie got the Breakfast I went over to Mrs

Manns & to Wilkies But did not do much work. Went down & finished my Poppy

Piece & went to Miss Hughes. Mrs Sherman & daughter called also Mrs M- Jennie

at Home All well. finished Alverdas Stocken

Got up early. I fed the Hourse & chickens also got the Breakfast & cleaned up my

room Wilkie came over. Got a letter from Pop Painted the Manette Vine on my jug

also a few leaves on my Wild rose piece. Mrs Fitz called children over to Buckleys

Rained last night & Some today

Got up late Jennie got the Breakfast. I tended to the Hoarse & chickens wrote three

letters one Home to Mary Spinks & Lemmie to my utter Surprise Pop got home

today Mattie sent me some lovely lace for an Apron Jennie went Home I went in to

Mrs Manns All well Pop has a cold-

Got up as early as usual did not wash too cloudy I worked on my Painting Mrs Mann

came over The children Started back to School. I went down town & to Miss

Hughes. Bertha & the children came over. I finished Alverdas Stocking & wound

some yarn for Luenes Shirt All well Jennie at Home Pop got a cold

Commenced Grand Pa a cap,

Got up late I got the breakfast Jennie helped around & made the Bread. got the

children off to School then Jennie & I did the washing got the clothes all dry I went

in to Buckleys Pop went down & got Edna & Alverda some new Shoes Jennies at

Home Pop got letter from Isaac all well

Wednesday, January 16, 1895

Rained almost all day Hard

Got up as early as usual did not feel very well helped iron Some Jennie got the

Breakfast. Edna went down to Miss Hughes for some of the the dress goods & the

lining before school they took their lunch. I finished my wild Rose drape on cotton

Batting & Basted some on my dress skirt Luene give her arm a Burn with the iron

All well Jennie at Home.

Rained blustered & blew

Got up late Jennie got the Breakfast then I got the children ready for School and

Rained almost all day

Got up late made Biscuit for Breakfast got the children off for School. cleaned up

our Bed room worked on my drawr work all I could Made corn meal mush for Lunch

went over to Mann & to Wilkies Luenes arm not so well today got some salve of

Mann Pop went down town all well-

Rained all night & till after noon

Got up late Jennie got the Breakfast & I made some Ginger Bread then I worked on

my drawr work & tonight I finished it so I have both legs done now knit on Grand Pa

cap to night. Jennie at Home. Pop got a letter from from MC Ray Lompoc all usually

well.

Showery cloudy

Got up late Jennie got Breakfast I put on the Pot Roast Pop wrote a letter & Postal to

Lompoc. after dinner Jennie took the children over to her Home. I made some candy

& took a bath. We all Played Dominos this evening All is well as usual looks like

rain tonight.

Cloudy windy did not rain much

Got up late it looked so much like rain we did not wash Jennie got the Breakfast I cut

out Alverdas two blue calico aprons Sewed on them all I could went to Mrs Manns.

The children went to School Fanny came over finished Grand Pa cap all well

Cloudy windy Rain

Got up late made corn bread for breakfast Got the children off to School then I

washed out a few pieces & went down to Miss H & finished my skirt sent the caps to

Grand Pa. sewed on Alverdas Aprons I feel very bad Oh my Head C.R.C. called all

noon the rest are all well Pop brought home my watch

Got up early washed out Edna's Grey dress. Wilkie came over. Jennie got Breakfast

Pop took Alverda & myself down town this After noon Mrs Mann Wilkie & my self

went down to see little Fenett Played by Unice Goodrich Jennie went down town cut

out the skirt of Ednas Blue dress all well but Slight colds

Cold north wind all day.

Got up as early as usual Jennie got breakfast I got the children off to Sunday school

and made a dish of Apple Snow oh my such rich Stuff. I helped to set the dinner Pop

took the children for a walk Jennie went Home and I wrote down some receipts on

my cook Book ll well But colds.

Got up as early as usual I got the Break fast got the children off to School Helped

Jennie with the wash. Pop took me over to the Dr to Pay her Bill of $10 & over to

town ask to Miss Hughes to get my waiste fit again I run in to see Mrs Buckley she is

better all well as usual-

Got up early made corn Bread for Breakfast & two Pumpkin Pies got the children off

for school. Went over to Wilkies Pop took her & I down to the Church to Mr Cox

funeral. I went in to call on Mrs Williams also sewed on Ednas dress All well Jennie

at Home.

Got up early made 2 Pumpkin Pies and got the Breakfast. got Edna's Blue dress

finished cleaned up my room Alverda took Luene down to school with her. Agnes &

I went down to the Opening Exerscises of the Free Library very good, Jennie at

Home Pop trimming the trees All usually well.

Got up late worked on Hard & got Ednas waiste done Jennie took Edna and Alverda

down to the Edna Kaney Mattinee. Mr. Dunning spent the evening here. Auntie D

buried 3 years ago today died the 31- got the lace on my Panties. Pop not very well

all the rest are well made Ednas green dress shorter

Got up as early as usual Jennie & I got Breakfast then I helped to put out the washing

washed the flannels. After dinner I sewed on the drawers Pop went down town

Jennie went out to the Show tonight got a nice long letter from cousin Queen Edna

and Alverda at School. All well But colds

Got up as early as usual, Helped to get Breakfast & done some ironing. Pop took

Grand Pa Luene & myself down town this after noon we went up on Logans Hill &

got some greens Mrs. Litchfield called also Wilkie & Agnes spent the evening with

us I ripped up one of Grand Pas Shirts. Luene & Pop both got colds All rest well

Grand Pa went down town I sewed on Grand Pa Shirt. finished putting new feet in

his socks Mrs Holmes spent the after noon here. Pop & Luene no better the rest are

Got up as early as usual made Corn Bread for Breakfast. Cleaned up the two Bed

trimming on her drawers. I took Mrs Wilkins and Agnes over to Sea Bright & got

wet Pop took Grand Pa Luene & Alverda for a drive Colds.

with them. I made an Orange cake very nice. Agnes took Alverda & Luene for a

up as early as usual the children did not go to Sunday School it was so muddy I

cooked the chicken & made the Biscuit for dinner. Hung up the clothes & got them

dry We all went for a Walk over to Sea Bright Seen Mrs Miller Jennie gone over

Home this evening all well-

nice dinner children Played games this eve Well-

Catarrah cure Luene not very well Mrs Mann came in Robbie Murphy very Sick all

seemes about the Same Pop got her some of the Fever cure today went over to W- a

few minutes Mrs Mann came in also Mrs Banford. I sewed a little on Alverdas Gray
