COMMUNITY LEARNING AND ACTION CENTER FOR SUSTAINABLE

DEVELOPMENT AND LIVELIHOODS IMPROVEMENT

(LOKAKARYA TENTANG

PUSAT PEMBELAJARAAN DAN KEGIATAN MASYARAKAT UNTUK

PEMBANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN DAN PENINGKATAN KEHIDUPAN) EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

This activity aim at promoting the collaboration among actors to promote sustainable

development and improvement of livelihoods of the poors and marginalized groups in targeted

districts (Kabupaten). The specific objectives are as follow:

(1) Introducing the concept of, operationalization and capacity building activities provided

through the CLAC.

(2) Presentation and discussions on the opportunities and procedures to acces the CSR fund

from private sector.

(3) Presentation by local government about the status of poverty, livelihoods activities,

problems, challenges and the needs to improve sustainable livelihoods of local people, as

well as development program in theiir respective district (Kabupaten).

(4) Knowledge, technologies and innovations relevant for sustainable livelihoods improvement

from universities/research institutes/higher education institutions available and procedures

to access them.

(5) Develop a mobile application for sharing news and updates with the participants (on-line)

and an off-line supporting materials storage on capacity building and innovative

policies/best practices for sustainable livelihoods that will be made available on request.

After attending the workshop it is expected that each district can observed the relevance of

setting -up CLAC for facilitating collaborative actions among sustainable development actors to

improve livelihoods of the poors and marginalized groups.

1. LATAR BELAKANG

Terminologi "berkelanjutan" (sustainability) telah menjadi paradigma pembangunan untuk

kemajuan kemanusiaan sejak tahun 1992. Pembangunan berkelanjutan mempunyai tiga dimensi:

pembangunan ekonomi, ekologi/lingkungan, dan sosial. Tetapi, setelah dua puluh tahun
