The KONE MonoSpace® elevator is powered by the KONE EcoDisc motor, KONE’s award-winning hoisting invention.

A reliable machineThe KONE EcoDisc is a low revving gearless motor with extremely low levels of wear. It incorporates an axial perma nent magnet rotor that constitutes the single moving part.

More efficient than traditional machinesThe KONE EcoDisc consumes less power and needs no oil. It is much safer in use; since the machine does not need oil, the risk of oil spill or fi re is greatly reduced.

The cost saverSignifi cant cost savings are achieved by the use of lower duty risers and fuses, made possible by a peak starting current of just 30 to 40 percent of that of equivalent traction units.

Walls

Walls are available in five Powder painted colors (Light grey, Yellow, Light green, Cream, White grey) Brushed stainless steel (Silver or Golden), Mirror polished stainless steel (Silver or Golden) and a selection of Etched stainless steel patterns. A glass rear wall is an option.

Choose the latest flooring materials from leading high-quality suppliers, carefully pre-selected by leading specialist designers: dark colored rubber, PVC in five patterns (marble, ceramic, granite, carpet or abstract), composite stone or local flooring up to 30 mm thick.

KONE has worked closely with architects and designers to provide a wide choice of materials, colors, illumination and finishes to create a car interior in harmony with your building’s ambiance. The ergonomic design of the car operating panels, hall lantern indicators and landing call stations make these panels and signals easy to read and easy to use.

The car operating panels, with dot matrix floor position indicators, call buttons and other special function keys and buttons, are installed flush with the car’s front or side wall. “Door Open”, “Door Close” and “Alarm” buttons are recessed into the panel.

The interfaces for maintenance and rescue operations are concealed in a small cabinet, accessed through a vertical panel in the topmost landing door’s façade.

Attractive and user-friendly landing signalization

The landing call stations and indicators with brushed stainless steel face plates and black enamel buttons are easy to read and easy to operate.

Their attractive finish and design upgrade the KONE MonoSpace’s interior and harmonize with the ambiance of its landings.

Components can be flush- or surface-mounted. English or simplified Chinese instructions are available.

KDS50 or K-Delta signalization are standard signalization for the KONE MonoSpace; KDS290 and KDS300 are available as options.

KONE MonoSpace® planning dimensions

The planning guide for the KONE 3000 MonoSpace® and KONE 3000S MonoSpace® gives you the dimensions of the elevator cars and their shafts to help you select the configuration that matches specified capacities, fits in with available space, and is compatible with your building’s design.

The dimensions of the elevator shafts include entrance height, car interior height, pit depth, maximum travel and headroom.

The table indicates different configurations offered for the KONE MonoSpace cars and their shafts. “Through type car” versions are also included. Based on your space requirements and specific loads, you can choose the configuration most suited to your needs.

The KONE MonoSpace can be arranged in groups of two and three elevators for maximum traffic flow between floors. KONE can analyze the traffic conditions in your building and recommend the optimum elevator configuration.
