Toyota have been creating pioneering hybrids for over
20 years – and now we’ve added outstanding hybrid
performance to the refi ned elegance of Camry Hybrid.
The result is a car that’s built for driving. The all-new
2.5 litre engine transforms the driving experience,
allowing the hybrid system to produce impressive power
of 218 DIN hp, alongside excellent fuel economy and
low CO emissions. The supremely quiet drive is made
even more tranquil thanks to superior sound insulation
that reduces road and wind noise at all speeds.

At the heart of the Camry Hybrid is the all-new Dynamic
Force Engine – a lightweight 2.5 litre engine that takes
hybrid to a new level. Providing plenty of torque at low
speeds and plenty of power at higher speeds, it ensures
dynamic performance with eff ortless acceleration. It also
uses a combination of direct and port injection to enhance
the exciting, involving driving experience. On top of all
this, it delivers class-leading thermal effi ciency that

Road Sign Assist
Monitors the road signs ahead and displays
key information such as the current speed
limit in clear view.
Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
Detects other vehicles and pedestrians in
the road ahead. If a collision is judged to
be imminent, the driver is alerted. If the
driver fails to brake in time the brakes
automatically engage.
Full-range Adaptive Cruise Control Enables the car to maintain a constant speed
without the use of the accelerator pedal. If
this distance falls, the system reduces speed
to preserve the distance between the car
and the vehicle ahead.
Automatic High Beam
Detects the lights of oncoming vehicles and
traffi c ahead while monitoring the brightness
of streetlights to allow automatic switching
between high and low beam for safer night-
time driving.
Lane Departure Alert with Steering ControlUsing a camera to detect the lane markings
in the road ahead, this feature will alert the
driver if the vehicle starts to deviate from its
lane. Steering Control applies corrective force
in the case of unintentional lane departure.

happen, we have set ourselves six challenges
to complete by 2050. Each one presents its

To minimise water usage, we have started
to collect rainwater at our manufacturing
plants. We have also developed purifi cation
methods so that the water we do use can
either be used again or returned safely into
the local supply.

We’ve been working on the challenge of
resource recycling for 40 years, with the
result that 95% of every Toyota Camry is
now reusable and recoverable. In addition,
