"As a young girl I remember helping my grandmother Gutke at her Smithfield

farm in Utah. She wa s a woman of great unquestioning faith. One day I had

a tooth ache and my grandmother told me to go lie down and say a prayer.

She exercised our faith further by telling me that she wa s going to town

and when she returned my tooth ache would be gone. I did as she had

instructed me to do and when she returned my pain was gone."
