What We’re Doing We’re making a movie in Greencastle. We will be filming in the summer of 2015, but there’s a lot of work to be done before then. We will spend the winter raising funds, the spring laying the ground work, the summer shooting the film, and then putting the finishing touches on it in the fall.
Why We’re Doing It Our movie, The Purloined Millstone by E.A. Sprechmann is a quirky satire/dark comedy with a twist. (It has a lot of twists, actually, but most of them are in the plot!) The twist? This film would have passed the Hays code in Hollywood’s Golden Era. It is a modern-day movie without the profanity, gore, or innuendos. It’s just pure entertainment!
