    Arrigo Park (Peanut Park), across the street from the Shrine, provides a perfect place to leisurely walk and reflect on Mary, the Mother to All. Join us as we share Scripture, prayer, stories and poetry for the Feast of the Assumption, which is August 15. Benches in the park give several opportunities to sit during this gentle walk.

    (We will walk in church if there is inclement weather.)

    Led by Julie Berggren, MA. Julie is a spiritual director, chaplain, and retreat leader.

    Reception for adopted persons who were placed from St. Vincent’s Orphanage in Chicago. This event is free, but registration is

    PLEASE NOTE - Sunday, August 18, the Shrine’s 11:00 am. Mass will be held at Taylor Street Festa Italiana, at the Main Stage located at Ashland and Taylor Streets. Start-ing at 10:30 a.m., a Trolley will be available to take church goers there and back to the Shrine.
