After successfully held the national Congress and Technical Seminar in Bali, 2010, The Indonesia’s

Industrial Gasses Association will conduct its 10th Congress and Technical Seminar to be held on July

5th & 6th 2018 at Novotel Samator – East Surabaya. This 10th Congress and Technical Seminar will be

a major event considering the size of the industrial gasses producers and consumers in Indonesia. The

focus of this coming Congress is on the application of digital technology in sustaining the industrial

gasses business to support Indonesian economic growth.

Given the national and regional nature of this event, it will attract both national and international

interest and attendance. Some of industries represented will be include : major manufacturing com-

panies, food producers, heavy equipment, industrial gasses producers and distributors including

agents and retailers, oil and gas companies, medical & healthcare industries and last but not least are

consultants, education bodies and government.

AGII was founded on September 11th 1972, originally named as Indonesia’s Oxygen Producer Associa-

tion. Original founder-member was the main Indonesian oxygen producer at that time, namely PT

Aneka Gas Industri (Persero), PT Industrial Gasses Indonesia, PT Krakatau Steel, PT Pan Gas Nusantara

Industri, PT Nila Alam and Pazam AURI Bandung. By the year 1978 the Indonesian government started

to welcome the foreign investment in the sector and since that year, foreign investor in the industrial

gasses sector increased rapidly. On the year 1981, the association held the �rst National Congress and

ever since, the association using the name of Indonesia’s Industrial Gasses Association (Asosiasi Gas

Industri Indonesia) to accommodate more industrial gasses producers that joined the association.

Currently, the Steering Committee member of Indonesia’s Industrial Gasses Association is PT Samator,

PT Aneka Gas Industri, PT Linde Indonesia, Air Product Indonesia and Air Liquid Indonesia.

The Association is currently focussing the e�ort in sustaining the industrial gasses business to

support Indonesian economic growth, by maximining the use of digital technology.
