2. A gold medal of the value of Rs. 50 called the “Pradhana Siromani T. Ananda Rao, C.I.E., Medal” shall be awarded annually at the Convocation to the candidate who obtains the highest percentage of total marks in the general papers on INDIAN HISTORY at the Final examination for the B.A. Degree and is eligible for the degree.

3. The prize and the medal may be awarded to students of any community. The scholarships shall be tenable by Brahmin students only. In the event of any Medical scholarship not being awarded to a Brahmin candidate, the savings may be utilised for the benefit of any other Brahmin student in such manner as the Univeristy Council may decide.

4. In the event of there being two or more candidates competing either

for the Medal, or the prize the same shall be awarded at the discretion of the University Council to the most deserving of them.
