【目的】Students will be taught using activities such as role plays, listening tasks, interviews, short

presentations, drills and writing.

【概要ならびに履修方法】Attendance： If students do not attend more than 80% of the lessons in Semester 1, they

will not be able to take the speaking interview test at the end of Semester 1. If students do not attend more than 80% of the lessons in Semester 2, they will not be able to take the final speaking presentation test at the end of Semester 2, and will automatically receive a failing grade.

【準備学習ならびにそれに要する時間】Students can read the textbook materials and study for mini-tests before and after each

class（approximately 60 minutes）.

【成績の評価方法・基準】Students will be assessed and receive a final grade based on the following criteria：

（1）In-class participation and progress（20%）（2）In-class tasks and mini-tests（30%）（3）A speaking test performed at the end of Semester 1（20%）（4）An individual 3 minutes spoken presentation at the end of Semester 2（30%）

first lesson of the course.

【フィードバック方針】For feedback of the course assessment, the grading system and criteria will be explained

to the student upon request.
