The next-generation broadband network will offer Singapore homes speeds of up

to 1 Gbps - something far beyond the

capabilities of SingTel and StarHub's oldernetworks..

Businesses will benefit too from usingthe Next Gen NBN instead of the

more expensive leased lines to

access cloud-based services like

data centre back-up services.

Nucleus Connect chief executiveDavid Storrie said he expectsfive more RSPs to enter the

market by the end of the year.
