Setting
• Tertiary care Academic teaching hospital located in Toronto, Ontario
• 1325 beds (including 500 veteran beds and 74 bassinets)
• Multi site Centre:
– Bayview Campus
– Holland Musculoskeletal program
– St. Johns Rehab (SJR)
• Specialty programs: Trauma, Cancer, Cardiovascular and Neuroscience

Escape Room Specification
• 2018 National Infection Control Week– Collaborated with Quality and Patient Safety department
– Designed an “Escape Room”
• Participants given a patient scenario
• Completion time : 15 minutes
• Facilitator provides clues upon request cost 30s

• The team with the shortest completion time was
recognized for their achievement.
