In Room 4 we have been learning about how to recognize and regulate our

emotions. We have formulated strategies for each "level" we are on. This

visual display helps us be aware of our classmates emotional state. We can

offer them support or know when to give them space depending where they

are.

The Learning Centre Another busy week for our senior students, we welcomed our student-teacher Whaea Kirsty who will be with us for once a week for the rest of the year. The senior students have also been busy fundraising and planning ideas for camp. Every Friday they have been putting on lunches, they are in charge of running the float, handing out orders and cooking, under the supervision of teachers.

The senior students also got to spend a day with Room 1, completing tuakana/teina lessons around the hungry caterpillar. It was great to see our older students help out and work alongside the junior students of our school.

Reporoa Cluster Swimming Sports The Reporoa Swimming Cluster event was held on Tuesday 10th March. 11 students participated and did very well in their events. We are extremely proud of the way they represented the school in both their Sportsmanship and Behaviour. Three of these students will be moving forward into the Central Bay of Plenty Swim Event on April the 3rd.
