1-3 Multiplication of Decimals

Steps:1.) Write the numbers vertically but do not line up the decimal points.

2.) Multiply as if there were no decimals.

3.) Count the number of digits to the right of the decimal point in both numbers. Move the decimal point to the left that many number of places in your answer.

Ex 1.) 6.72 2.3

2.) 0.08 0.07 After multiplying, how many places do we move the decimal point to the left?
