As we rehearse the concert tonight, discuss details, make changes, flex, and prepare, lets all do it with a spirit of prayer, ancipaon and excitement. It is an honor to serve the Lord together and create this unique experience for all to worship Jesus in the coming days. We will begin tonight at the top of the concert order, stopping and starng as needed; and likely run Welcome To Our Worldwith choir again at the end of rehearsal. Be sure to use the printed concert order with notes, printed especially for you today. Keep music in order. All choral music should be in black, 3-ring binders, in concert order. We have additional binders arriving at church tomorrow. SUNDAY & MONDAY PARKING: If you are able to walk with relative ease, PLEASE arrive early and park in the far south parking lot next to the Rec Field. If you need to park closer due to physical limitations, please do so. Police & security will be on campus to assist with concert parking later in the day - they request we leave the parking areas closest to sanctuary open for concert goers. SUNDAY MORNING: Regular Sunday morning call times & rehearsals. Our combined anthem will be the Goeller arr. "O Come All Ye Faithful." Students are invited to sing - wear your Student Choir shirt or other dark colors. SUNDAY @ 4 PM: Please ARRIVE & PARK EARLY to rehearse with Veritas. Orchestra, gather to tune in the CHAPEL, then move to places in Sanctuary BY 4:15. Choir, gather in FOUNDERS HALL at 4 p.m. (we'll move to sanctuary by 4:15 p.m.) Everyone, bring your uniform with you to change into later, in assigned dressing rooms behind the church library (near Founders Hall). The entire Music Suite will NOT be available beginning Sunday afternoon. SUNDAY @ 5:30 PM: Time to eat and change into uniforms. If you haven't ordered a boxed dinner (Jason's Deli) and would like one, please use this link to order & pay through TONIGHT: https://deermeadows.shelbynextchms.com/external/form/d5c402bf-bbff-4471-a861- 7a48819af14d. Laura or Julie are available tonight to take cash/check orders (exact change please—$5). If you do not order/pay by tonight, we will be unable to provide you with a boxed dinner, and you'll need to provide your own snack. Boxed dinners will be available in the Gathering Place at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, for those who ordered/paid. Water, tables and chairs will be there for everyone. SUNDAY @ 6:30 PM: All meet in Founders Hall for prayer, then orchestra will move to Chapel for pre-concert tuning & gathering. Concert begins at 7 p.m. MONDAY's CALL IS @ 6 PM IN THE SANCTUARY. Please arrive dressed in uniform, or change after work in a Founder's Hall restroom. The Monday evening post-concert Cast Party/Reception is very nice, with lots of food, in the Gathering Place. You and your spouse/ guest are invited. CHOIR: "Welcome To Our World" - memorization - 'nuf said. :) There is a link in this week’s email that was sent earlier. ATTIRE Reminder: Choir Ladies - SKIRTS are recommended/preferred for all. The only pants allowed are long, flowy, pants (I don't know the name, but the ones that look like skirts from a distance). Orchestra Men - don't forget, you are wearing BLACK shirts with your tux; Choir Men wear white tux shirts. Don't forget to pick-up your rental tux this week! Students and orchestra ladies, wearing solid, dress black (legs in black, too - leggings or hose). All jewelry should be minimal - no necklaces, only small, studs in ears. Securing Personal Valuables: We will be able to lock all personal valuables in an area near our 6:30pm gathering on Sunday, and same place on Monday. Bring as little with you as possible. The Music Suite closet will NOT be available, nor accessible, for securing your items. Student Choir should leave black binders in chairs tonight at the completion of rehearsal. Adults should use folders for Sunday morning worship, then leave in chairs following the service for afternoon rehearsal (the music suite will not be available after Sunday morning).
