4 tablespoons Avocado Salsa Verde (recipe below) 4 tablespoons Cotija cheese, gratedAvocado Salsa Verde 1 large, ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and cut into 1/2-inch dice 1/3 cup diced tomato 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion 1/2 teaspoon seeded and minced serrano chili 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro 1/4 teaspoon sugarHeat saute pan over medium-high heat. Add groundbeef; season with salt and pepper. Saute 3-5 minutes, oruntil golden brown.

Chop mushrooms to size and texture of ground beefand saute in separate pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil 3-5 minutes. Combine mushrooms and meat and set aside.

Heat pan used for ground beef over medium-high heat.Add remaining olive oil and onions; saute until goldenbrown. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add mush-room and beef mixture and chili pepper. Saute 2-3 min-utes, stirring frequently. Adjust sea soning with salt,pepper and lime juice.

Toss shredded cabbage with salt, pepper, lime juiceand cilantro.

To make Avocado Salsa Verde, combine all salsa in-gredients and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

To serve, place 2 tablespoons shredded cabbage ontortilla and top with 2 tablespoons of mushroom andbeef mixture. Top with 1 tablespoon Avocado SalsaVerde and sprinkle with Cotija cheese.

Paint each box a different color and let dry. Paint the box again using a differentcolor than the bottom color and let dry.Lightly to moderately sand each box to expose paint underneath to give each box a

distressed look.Using an old rag or soft cloth, rub each sanded box with white wax and let dry. Buff

each box to give it a finished look and feel. Hang boxes in a cluster to create a shelforganizer with multiple storage spaces.

Supplies and Tools:2/3 yard patterned burlapunframed cork boardscissorsstaple gunsmall hammer3/8-inch grosgrain ribbonglue dot runnerhigh temperature hot glue gunchalkboard clothespin clipschalkboard clothespinsthumbtacksdecorative ribbons and trims, such as chalkboardplaque

Cut burlap about 5 inches wider and longer than corkboard. Place burlap (pattern down) on a smooth surface and

center cork board (face down) on top of it. Wrap burlaparound edges of board and staple it to the back using a sta-ple gun, pulling burlap tight as you go. Notch out burlapand staple around it to allow for holes to hang the corkboard.Staple burlap along the length of the board on both sides

before working on corners. Then, take a corner piece andpull it tight toward center of the board and staple. If anystaples are sticking up, use small hammer to tap in tighter.Use coordinating grosgrain ribbon to create a decorative

border. Use glue dot runner to apply glue dots to one sideof ribbon along a length about 2 inches shorter than corkboard. Starting 1 inch in from the edge of the board, laydown glue-dotted ribbon so that it adheres to burlap. At thecorner, flip ribbon over and follow same steps for the nextside. A small dot of glue from hot glue gun will help keepcorners flat and in place.To personalize and embellish board: hot glue thumb-

tacks onto back of chalkboard clothespins clips, whichwon't puncture holes in letters or notes that are attached tothe board. Add decorative ribbons and trim that add aunique element and pop of color.
