ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK – PRINCE GEORGE, BC
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Carrier Lumber Ltd. is actively searching for a motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Clerk. We have a corporate culture built on hard work, ingenuity and collaboration, demonstrated by our energetic Accounting department. THE QUALIFICATIONS:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be a detail oriented individual with a proactive attitude. They will have the ability to work well with others at all levels and should be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working alone. They will need to seek solutions and respond to change well.
The following qualifications are preferred:
An accounting diploma, certificate or courses in bookkeeping levels 1, 2, and 3 1 - 2 years’ practical experience in an accounting position
THE DUTIES:
Performs all core-level accounts payable processing, including, but not limited to processing purchase orders, filing, vendor maintenance, and fuel tax reporting.
Provides lunchtime relief for our receptionist, including performing basic duties such as assisting guests, directing calls and distributing mail.
Performs relief duties for other positions, as required, including but not limited to the Accounts Payable Administrator and the Receptionist.
Takes the daily deposit to the bank.
This is a full-time, salaried position. A competitive industry benefits package is available. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
