Kids On The Rock (KOTR): Parents, the last 3 numbers on your child's check-in tag will appear on the black box to the right of the main stage screen if your child needs you. !!

Preschool: Key Question: Who made everything? Memory Verse: “You made the world and everything in it.” Psalm 89:11, NCV. Bible Story: Fish and Birds. Genesis 1:20-23. !K-5th: KOTR K-5th Grade is meeting all summer during the service (9:48am). Kids start out in the auditorium and then are dismissed to go to the Youth Group Room. !

July 3: Luke 14 ~ A Demanding Discipleship July 10: Luke 15 ~ The parables of the Lost July 17: Luke 17 July 24&31: Luke 18 !Middle and High School Youth Groups will resume in the fall. !Young Adult Ministry: Mondays from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. !

Service Projects: Our high school and middle school ministries have two opportunities to serve others in the Grand Rapids/Rockford area in July. The first date is July 8/9; we will be building a wheelchair ramp for someone in need in Rockford. The second opportunity is July 13 and 14, painting some rooms at Dègagè. We’ll wash the walls on Wednesday between 12:00pm and 4:30pm and paint on Thursday in the morning/afternoon. If you would like to sign up for these service projects or would like more information about either, contact Bobby Moore. !Men's Ministry Facebook Group: Recently, a new Facebook group was created with the intent of helping guys at River Rock connect! This will be a great way to find others who share your interests and more. Our small groups this year are based on a sermon series in the Book of Luke. We are using a study guide from New Testament scholar N.T. Wright. !

Mustard Seed Ministries is looking for volunteers for 2 wheelchair ramp installations in Rockford on July 8 and 9. Looking for builders, food donations for the volunteers, people that can grill food, and the possibility of a prayer walk through the park Saturday afternoon. Facility Task Force Update: The team continues to work on the recommendations from our Feasibility Study which was conducted last fall. Questions that have been asked are being compiled and the team is working on an updated Q and A Document for distribution soon. Please lift up in prayer the facilities future for River Rock Church, that God would provide a facility on which a healthy, missional ministry can continue to expand. Pray for wisdom and discernment and for healthy dialogue along the way. Also give thanks to God for His leading so far! The Task Force welcomes your questions and comments. Praise in the Park: River Rock’s Worship Team will be at the Praise in the Park on Sunday, July 24 at 6pm at the Garden Club Park in downtown Rockford. Bring your lawn chair and your voice to sing along! !Book Club: The next meeting is August 11 at the home of Linda Dejong at 6:30pm. The book is “A Man Called Ove" by Fredrick Backman. Community and Family Matters !Rick Brill has been on dialysis for kidney failure and is doing well, but has been looking for a donor match. Praise God that his wife, Mary Jo, is a match and plans to donate a kidney to him! The surgery date has not yet been scheduled. Please pray for successful surgeries and comfort for both of them and their family. !Continue to pray for God's comfort, energy, and healing for Lisa Bade as she continues fighting breast cancer. Pray for her husband Kyle, children Callum and Stella, and other family members as they support her. You can keep up with her story by going to CaringBridge.org.
