It helps build churches and temples, and helps throw the church parties that we go to, and things like that. **It makes Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ happy when we pay our tithing. **It is a commandment to pay our tithing. What is a commandment?It’s like a rule that Heavenly Father has given us. We follow or “obey” his commandments, so that we can be happy. And it makes Him happy too.**How do we know how much to give for our tithing? D&C 119:4 Heavenly Father has taught us to pay 10% for tithing.
