4. FIRST AID MEASURES

General advice : Seek medical advice. If breathing has stopped or is labored, give assisted respirations. Supplemental oxygen may be indicated. If the heart has stopped, trained personnel should begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation immediately.

Eye contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water also under the eyelids for at least 20

minutes. Remove contact lenses. Care should be taken not to rinse contaminated wa ter into the unaffected eye.

Skin contact : Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes. Wash off with

soap and water. Immediately remove contaminated clothing, and any extraneous chemical, if possible to do so without delay. Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately.

Ingestion : Never give anything by mouth to a victim who is c onvulsing. Never give anything

by mouth to an unconscious person. If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the recovery position. Call a physician immediately. Prevent aspiration of vomit. Turn victim's head to the side.

4. PREMIERS SECOURS

Conseils généraux : Demander conseil à un médecin. En cas d'arrêt ou de difficulté respiratoire, administrer la respiration assistée. Un supplément d'oxygène peut être nécessaire. En cas d'arrêt cardiaque, des personnes qualifiées doivent immédiatement entreprendre la réanimation cardio-respiratoire.

Contact avec les yeux : Rincer immédiatement et abondamment avec de l'eau, également sous les

paupières, pendant au moins 20 minutes. Enlever les lentilles de contact. Prendre garde à ne pas rincer l'œil non affecté avec de l'eau contaminée.

Contact avec la peau : Laver immédiatement et abondamment avec de l'eau pendant au moins 20

minutes. Laver avec de l'eau et du savon. Retirez immédiatement les vêtements contaminés et tous les produits chimiques étrangers dans les plus brefs délais. Oter immédiatement les vêtements et les chaussures contaminées.

Ingestion : Ne jamais donner quoi que ce soit par voie buccale à une personne prise de

convulsions. Ne jamais rien faire avaler à une personne inconsciente. Si une personne vomit et est couchée sur le dos, la tourner sur le côté. Appeler immédiatement un médecin. Empêchez l'aspiration des vomissements. Tournez la tête du patient sur le côté.

Inhalation : En cas d'arrêt ou de difficulté respiratoire, administrer la respiration assistée. Un

supplément d'oxygène peut être nécessaire. En cas d'arrêt cardiaque, des personnes qualifiées doivent immédiatement entreprendre la réanimation cardio-respiratoire. Mettre la victime à l'air libre.
