The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects that contain embedded technology to communicate and sense or interact with their internal states or the external environment.

A network of items—each embedded with sensors—which are connected to the Internet.

Internet of Everything (IoE), includes people, places, objects and things. Basically anything you can attach a sensor and connectivity to can participate in the new connected ecosystems.

A global infrastructure for the information society, enabling advanced services by interconnecting (physical and virtual) things based on, existing and evolving, interoperable information and communication technologies
