1.1. ATISD-ATIS 127.6

1.2. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)1.2.1. GENERAL

Air Traffic Controllers at APT Tower shall initiate and terminate LVP as requiredand inform all concerned.The enforcement of LVP will be transmitted on ATIS and/or on first contact withthe ACFT on the appropriate control frequency.During the period of LVP the lights on TWYs that are not being used should beswitched off wherever possible.Increased separation between traffic in low visibility condition, delays areexpected during taxi, take-off and landing.

Use of Stop BarsRemote-controlled stop bars are installed on APT with RWYs certified for preci-sion approaches CAT II. Their use is included in LVP.When remote-controlled stop bars are illuminated (red light), the ground trafficwill stop. Extinguish the stop bars will indicate that the TWY is clear.When the line-up clearance is issued, the stop bar is extinguished and the confir-mation segment is illuminated (green light).Pilots should never cross a stop bar whose red lights are on.When remote-controlled stop bars are extinguished, pilots should never cross thetaxi-holding point if the confirmation segment is not illuminated, unless clearlyauthorized by ATC.

1.2.2. ARRIVALThe preparation phase will be commenced when RVR falls below 1200m and/orcloud base between 400’-200' and CAT II operations are expected.LVP will be in force when:- RWY 26R/08L: the RVR is below 550m and equal or greater than 300m and/or

cloud base is below 200', but not less than 120', traffic is approved forlanding.

- RWY 26L: the RVR is below 550m and equal or greater than 400m and/or cloudbase is below 200', but not less than 140', traffic is approved for landing.

LVP is not applicable for RWY 08R.LVP will be terminated when the RVR is greater than 550m together with the cloudbase over 200' and continuous improvement is expected.Pilots must be advised of the termination of LVP through ATIS broadcast and/orthe appropriate control frequency.

Actions will be implemented:- During the operation of LVP, one ACFT at a time is allowed to maneuver at

RWYs 26R/08L with the associated TWYs and one ACFT at RWY 26L with asso-ciated TWYs, any other traffic will hold until the preceding one either parkedat the gate or departed the associated RWY.

- On pilot request Follow-me service shall be provided to/from stands to guidethe ACFT, whenever RVR is below 550m.

- Pilots shall report "RWY vacated" when the ACFT vacating the RWY and thewhole ACFT becomes on the TWY.

- Pilots shall report "on stand" or "on gate" when the ACFT is parked.- When Follow-me service is requested by the pilot, the Follow-me personnel

shall report on RTF when the ACFT vacating the RWY and/or the TWY, andwhen the ACFT is parked.

1.2.3. DEPARTURELow Visibility Take-off (LVTO) will be in force when:- RWY 26R/08L: the RVR is below 300m and equal/or greater than 150m.- RWY 26L: the RVR decreases to 300m but not less.LVTO is not applicable for RWY 08R.All operations at APT will be suspended when the RVR is less than 150m.Actions will be implemented: - Only one departure ACFT using RWYs 26R/08L will be allowed to maneuver.- Follow-me service shall be provided from stands to guide ACFT, except when

on TWY G to TWY H to RWYs 26R/08L, where it will be provided on pilotrequest.

- Providing Follow-me service will be subject to Follow-me driver assessmentand his ability to detect his path through the maneuvering areas.

- Pilots shall report "rolling" when the ACFT commencing take-off run.- Pilots shall report "airborne" as soon as practicable when the ACFT takes off.

1.3. TAXIING PROCEDURESLANDING 08R: Taxi to North apron via TWYs C, A, F, N and B or RWY End, TWYs A, G and N.Taxi to South apron (East side) via TWYs C, A, F, S and B or RWY End, TWYs A, Gand S.Taxi to South apron (West side) via TWYs A and E.Taxi to cargo apron/Royal Pavilion apron via TWY A and cargo apron/Royal Pavil-ion apron. Code F ACFT entry to North apron:Code F ACFT shall only enter and exit via TWY J and park on stand N26. StandsN17 and N19 shall be clear of all ACFT types.

Code F ACFT Push-back Procedure on North apron:Minimum engine power shall be maintained.The ACFT shall be pushed back facing South towards TWY J until it reachesTWY H, then facing East such that the ACFT main gear is aligned with TWY cen-terline until its nose wheel becomes after the intermediate holding positionmarking. The ACFT may break away from this point when taxi clearance has beenissued by ATC.

Code F ACFT entry to South apron:Code F ACFT shall only enter via TWY S. Stands S21, S23 and S25 shall be clear ofall ACFT types.

Code F ACFT Push-back Procedure on South apron:Minimum engine power shall be maintained.The ACFT shall be pushed back facing West through TWY S until it reaches TWY F,then facing South such that the ACFT main gear is aligned on TWY centerline untilits nose wheel becomes after the intermediate holding position marking. TheACFT may break away from this point after taxi clearance has been issued by theATC Ground Controller.

1.4. PARKING INFORMATIONMarshaller availability is mandatory on North and South apron parking stands,even when stands are equipped with Visual Docking Guidance System.Marshalling is mandatory on all Royal apron parking stands, all Hotel apron park-ing stands, all cargo apron parking stands.ACFT turn on all aprons is prohibited. All ACFT must consider ground handlingarrangements for push-back equipment.Stands N2, N4, N8, N14, N18, N20, N24, N26, S2, S4, S6, S10, S16, S20, S24, S26,S30 and S32 equipped with Visual Docking Guidance System.

2.1. CAT II OPERATIONSRWY 08L and RWYs 26L/R approved for CAT II operations, special aircrew andACFT certification required.Pilots shall be advised when CAT II operations are suspended.CAT II operations will be suspended when any of the following equipmentbecomes unserviceable during the periods of the LVP: LOC, GS, ILS DME, RVR, Air-field Ground Lighting.

2.2. RWY OPERATIONS

2.2.1. MINIMUM RWY OCCUPANCY TIMEPilots shall use minimum required occupancy time to vacate RWY in the mostexpeditious manner. Pilots unable to comply with this requirement shall notifyATC prior to landing.
