WATER- Hydrates you body - Remove toxins that's in the air you breathe- Keep your metabolism working properly- Foods such as fruits, drinks, vegetables,

meat- About 75% of you body is water- You can go 5 to 7 days without water.

Vitamins- Gives us stronger bones- Helps you see at night- Food such as dairy, meat, vegetables, fruit- All vitamins have been given letter codes- Vitamins are chemical compounds- Types Vitamin A, Vitamin B6 , Vitamin B12,

Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K

Fats- Adds flavour to our foods- Mostly meat, oils, dairy, fish - Keeps food in our body- A generic term for class of lipids- Types, Trans fat, & Saturated fat- Needed for absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K- Insulate the body against extreme temperatures

MINERAL

- Mostly vegetables and meat- Found in small quantities of the body- Homogeneous inorganic solid- Types macro minerals, trace minerals- Inorganic substances that occur naturally as elements- Are vital for a healthy mind and body

- Protects your muscles- Mostly Sugar, potatoes, pasta, bread and cereal- One of the main dietary components- Organic compound group including starches
