Vision Statement ExamplesBy the end of the decade, we will put a man on the moon. John F. Kennedy66 Vision Statement Examples

I have a dream. Martin Luther King, Jr..

Martin Luther King, Jr. said, I have a dream and then offered a vision that changed a nation. That famous speech is a dramatic example of the power that can be generated by a person who communicates a compelling vision of the future.

By the end of the decade, we will put a man on the moon. John F. Kennedy

Though John F. Kennedy did not live to see his vision for NASA come to fruition, he set it in motion when he said, By the end of the decade, we will put a man on the moon. When it came time to appropriate the enormous funds necessary to accomplish the vision, Congress did not hesitate. Why? Because this vision spoke powerfully to values the American people held dear: America as a pioneer and America as a world leader.

Now, lets look at a sample Vision Statement from a non-profit organization, then AWWAs Vision Statement.Sample Vision StatementsOur vision is that all people with HIV get the appropriate care they need in a comfortable, accessible setting, and that we see the day soon when HIV is no longer a killer in our community.

67 Sample Vision Statements

Our vision is that all people with HIV get the appropriate care they need in a comfortable, accessible setting, and that we see the day soon when HIV is no longer a killer in our community.
