Abstract
Assessing the Psychometric Properties of the Non-Verbal
Intelligence Test
(TONI-4) on Saudi Arabian Middle School Female Students
The present study aimed to investigate the psychometric
properties of the Test of
Non-Verbal Intelligence (TONI-4) on the Eastern Province Middle
School Female Students in
Saudi Arabia aged (12-15). Followed that a derivation of
standards help to explain the
intelligence level of the age group to find an effective
standard help to discover gifted girls
and then to derive the suitable standards of the sample
performance. The sample consisted of
(659) school girls from Dammam City and Khobar Governorate. The
results showed that the
Test of Non-Verbal Intelligence (TONI-4) enjoys a good degree of
effectiveness which are
shown through indications which have been obtained. Also the
results showed the Test of
Non-Verbal Intelligence (TONI-4) enjoys with a good reliability
and validity signs. The
results showed fundamental differences in performance on the
test as a whole among different
ages. The results of the individual difference analysis showed
existence of differences of
statistical signs among ages which the study included for the
good of old age (15).
