Where Does the chaparral fit in with the rest of the terrestrial world?
Temperature Has a Mediterranean climate- hot, dry
summers and mild, moist (not rainy) winters. Temperate (between 30°F and 100°F) Average temperature is about 59°F
Rainfall Only about 10-17 inches per year, most of it
comes in the winter. High chances of fire due to lack of rainfall,
dryness, and hot temperatures. Physical Features
Found on rocky hills and mountain slopes.
