After successfully completing your Monash College diploma, you will be ready to enter into second year at Monash University2.
STUDY THE SAME CURRICULUM AS FIRST YEAR UNIVERSITY STUDENTSThe subjects you study during Part 2 of your diploma are exactly the same subjects that are taught in first year at Monash University. Our highly supportive environment and dedicated teaching and support staff will guide you each step of the way, helping you to achieve your academic potential.
SMALL CLASSESOur diploma classes are smaller than those at university. This means you’ll receive extra help, support and individual attention from your teachers to help you learn and grow.
FAST-TRACK TO SECOND YEARYou will also have the opportunity to fast-track to second year at Monash University by completing your first year subjects in only eight months!
Part 2 of the diploma takes just nine months3. This means you won’t be losing any time on your degree. If you start your diploma in February 2022, you can still enter second year of your university degree in February 2023 as planned4.

If you’re interested in a career in education, you can complete an education specialisation as part of your art, business or science diploma. You’ll be on your way to an education double degree in just nine months.
Choose your diploma and check you meet the entry requirements and subject prerequisites for part 2. You’ll then have the opportunity to complete a double discipline diploma in either:
• education studies and arts• education studies and business• education studies and science.
During your studies, you will complete the same number of units as a single discipline diploma. You’ll complete two education studies units and 10 days of work placement as part of your diploma.
