HE WAS MENTORED FOR FORTY YEARS before he replaced his beloved mentor. He was permit-ted to see what others could not and experience blessings other did not—all because he chose to serve others before being served by others. If words were etched on his tomb to sum up his life, it would read, “He left nothing undone that the Lord commanded…” This sentence is penned in Joshua 11:15 and refers to Joshua, the same man I am speaking of, who served Moses for forty years and was appointed by the Lord to a thirty-year leadership, overseeing Israel’s army into a total Holy Land conquest.

Joshua 11:15 compliments Joshua’s obedience and for many years has been a motivation and inspiration for my hard work in the ministry. I can honestly say that during my forty years of ministry I have tried in every way to be obedi-ent to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, from researching in-depth messages, writing books,

preparing messages for Manna-Fest, and building or purchasing ministry facilities to accommodate God’s purposes.

Awhile back I made a list for the OCI Fel-lowship members to show them that what I said we were going to do, we actually did. Here is that list:

•  We would rent a small facility in town to conduct services on Tuesday nights

•  We would purchase property to build a large “gathering place” for a generation

•  We would include a special café with free Wi-Fi as a place of fellowship and community

•  We would take an old dilapidated barn, making it a place of weekly Thursday night prayer

•  We would put together a children’s ministry for children ages 5 to 11 on Tuesday nights

•  We would build a 72,000 square-foot facility for Tuesday night services and for conferences

•  We would build a prayer community of 1,000 homes (fire houses) to join our Thursday prayer

•  We would initiate a series of major yearly events for youth called Warrior-Fest

•  We would build a dance and drama team with our youth, called Remnant

•  We would purchase a large bus en-abling our youth teams to travel and minister

•  We would have a praise and worship team called First Hearts, ministering weekly

•  We would build a strong volunteer base for conferences and events

•  We would teach and organize a power-ful prayer and altar ministry team

•  We would move our Main Event to OCI and host a major Prophetic Summit

•  We would purchase the T.L. Lowery fa-cility and form an internet Bible School called ISOW

•  We would purchase property to assist Eddie James Ministries

•  We would purchase a large home for Women of Hope to assist women with addictions

•  We would construct a baptismal pool on OCI property for baptizing converts

•  We would purchase the remaining property around OCI for a future youth camp

•  We would prepare a lodge for offices, youth, and for weekly small groups meetings

•  We would obtain the equipment needed to reach people through social media

•  We would commission groups from OCI to minister in world mission ef-forts

•  We would use the Samaritan Fund to assist legitimate feeding programs of those we know

All 23 of these we have accomplished. The large OCI facility hosts Tuesday night ser-vices and numerous conferences in which thousands have come to know Christ and thousands have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. VOE has exposed nations to the Gospel through Manna-Fest. On a local lev-el all ages are maturing in prayer and grow-ing in the knowledge of the Word of God.

There are still major ministry opportuni-ties opening to us to advance the kingdom of God. This is why I am so grateful for those of you that support our ministry both monthly and even occasionally. I pledge to you, that with the help of God, my team and I will continue to follow the Lord’s purposes.

When my time is complete, or the Lord returns, I hope it can be said, “Perry Stone left nothing undone of what the Lord com-manded him to do.” My only desire in heav-en is to hear Christ speak one sentence, “Well done good and faithful servant…” Everyone will receive an “eternal sentence” and may the words you hear be the same… “Well done.”

PRIL 2, 2018, PERRY AND I CELEBRATED 36 YEARS of marriage. Our marriage has resulted in two remarkable children, Amanda and Jonathan, of whom we both adore. From birth to adulthood, their growing process has been exciting and at a few times challenging,

but we have enjoyed sharing our time, resources and our lives with them during every growth phase.

During these 36 years, we continually heard many of you grandparents tell us, “Just wait until the grandchildren arrive. If you love your kids you will go wild over those grandchildren.” Perry and I have joyfully viewed hundreds of your pho-tographs capturing the expressions of those miniature earth angels, called grand-children, from their birth, during their birthdays, and special events.

Recently, I went to the doctor with my daugh-ter in law Katie, and saw the form of our future grandchild including its tiny footprint. I saw the little one stretching its legs. You were all correct in saying this would be a different feeling from what we felt when we saw our own children on the ultrasound. It is a different level of joy and responsibility. The idea that God allowed our son Jonathan to participate in the creation of a living human being, formed in their image, is a powerful emotion. With our kids the question was, “Which one of us will the baby look like?” Now it is “Which one of them will the child be like?” Will the eyes be the same of a distant relative, whose DNA is encoded in the blood stream? Will its hair be like Jonathan, papa Per-ry or thick and wavy like its great grandfather Fred?

Outside of the gift of salvation and eternal life, the birth of a child, to me, is proof of Gods existence. To think that this miniature human surrounded by water for nine months in the womb begins with a seed and an egg and grows from the size of a peanut to six, seven or eight pounds, and enters the world crying, is a true miracle. It is difficult to understand why any woman would choose to abort such a wonder-ful gift from God. Perhaps the woman doesn’t know who the father is, or hates the man who is the father or is pressured by family. The better choice would be to give birth and allow a solid Christian couple to adopt the child and raise it in an environment of faith and love.

Because so many of you who read Pam’s Cor-ner are family to us, I will keep you informed in the VOE magazine with pictures (does this surprise anyone?) Perry is beside himself and at the baby dedication he will have something very moving and amazing to show and tell you about this little one. Tiffany (our Partner’s Di-rector) and Katie (our daughter-in-law) are pregnant and the babies are due about the same time. There are 14 women pregnant that are linked with the ministry that are due to deliver in the fall! In January, Perry taught the Hebrew meaning of the year 2018 and predicted it was the year of “new life,” and said, “Many women will give birth this year, including some the doctor’s said could not get pregnant.” This has literally occurred! We did not know he was giv-ing a “word” that would be fulfilled in our own family. Please pray for all of our young women who will have their first child to go full term, and have a smooth delivery.

WHEN WHATYOU SEE IS NOTWHAT YOU SEE

D E C E P T I O N

IT IS MY OBSERVATION, during over forty years of ministry, that the slyest form of de-ception is the ‘perception deception,’ which when operating in the mind of a person can lead to unfounded speculation, innuendos and false rumors, damaging a person’s rep-utation.

What is perception? Perception can be your concept of a mental image. It can be the awareness of your environment. Perception can be a feeling you get when observing or hearing something. True per-ception is the ability to comprehend some-thing — correctly.

Look at the following picture. What do you think it is?

Now look at these lines and tell me which one is longer and which is shorter?

The fact is both lines are the same size. Take a careful look at the first picture again and see if you can detect a vase or do you see two faces looking at each other. Two

people can look at the same picture and “see” two different images, just as two peo-ple can see the same accident and present two sides to the story.

PERCEPTION DECEPTION IN THE CHURCHIn Christ’s Olivet discourse, four times he warns of deception (Matthew 24:4, 5, 11, 24). He warns deception will affect ‘many’ (v-5, 11) turning them from the truth and will also corrupt the very ‘elect’ (v-24). By definition, deception is to purposely give a false impression through an appear-ance, statement or through using influ-ence. To be deceived is to be led off course by someone else’s influence. According to Christ the main source of religious decep-tion is words from a false prophet or a false teacher. The New Testament warns that in the ‘last days,’ hearers of teaching will not tolerate “sound doctrine,” but will have “itching ears;’ meaning they will choose teaching that sooths them and ignore any-one whose message confronts them. The sad fact is that in many local congregations, good people have been hurt, and their rep-utations marred because someone spread gossip that was unfounded and based on a twisted perception instead of a fact.

PERCEPTION AS A WEAPONJesus was continually misunderstood. He spoke in metaphors about ‘eating his flesh and drinking his blood,’ and ‘destroying the temple in three days.’ His enemies misin-terpreted his statements, using what he intended as an object lesson, as a weapon to discredit his ministry. I call this weapon-ized distortion. The Pharisaical perception of Moses law, concerning working on the Sabbath, in their distorted view also for-bid healing the sick on the Sabbath. Yet, the Torah does not indicate us to negate a miracle on the Sabbath. The Pharisees distortion of truth was a facade to conceal their jealousy. Always remember that, you

are often controversial among those who disagree with you!

My own ministry had to endure years of criticism and misrepresentation from those whose denomination glasses were tinted to focus on one view point but were blind to any other opinion that countered their traditions. I have preached messages in which I was misquoted to pad the opin-ion of a critic. When I began preaching the Hebraic roots of the Christian faith and leading tours to Israel, I was tagged a “Ju-daizer” and a “heretic” by ignorant minis-ters who had no knowledge of the subject, but had expertise in tearing down others to build their own self-esteem.

Before a critic presents their case, their first statement begins with, “I heard that…”, or “Someone told me…” or “They say…” The first warning sign should be that the per-son revealing the information was not even in the room when the alleged statement or act occurred. Then the second question should be, “who is the ‘someone’ and the ‘they’” handing out the accusations. I have taught that when a rumor is repeated and you were not present to actually hear what was said, you can fall into the position of a ‘accuser of the brethren,’ which is a serious spiritual crime against a fellow believer. The Lord is so concerned about the danger that can be released in your words that He warned, “the power of life and death are in the tongue” (Prov. 18:21).

A noted minister with a global television and national radio ministry was criticizing my book, “The Meal that Heals,” which teaches the power of receiving daily Communion when you are sick. The minister spent three days tearing apart the teaching. When a friend of mine asked him when he read the book, the outspoken negative preacher said, “I never read it. I just went on the internet to get the comments everyone made about it…” What if a diseased person would have been

B Y P E R R Y S T O N E

VOICE OF EVANGELISM | JUNE / JULY / AUGUST 2018 7

healed after obeying the truth in the book and after listening to this minister’s unbelief and negative false perception it prevented the person from reading the book because of what he said? This is an example of the “power of life and death” in what you say.

Some Christians have hijacked common sense and are demonstrating ignorance on steroids when they counter truth with hu-man arguments, always parroting what oth-ers say without any foundational informa-tion in their process.

EARLY PENTECOSTAL PERCEPTIONS In the early Pentecostal movement, the wearing of any jewelry including wedding bands was forbidden. Yet as a teen I read Scripture where the prodigal son’s father presented his estranged son a ring upon his return (Luke 15:22). The wedding band ban was eventually dropped, because of a per-ception when hotel clerks saw a preacher checking in a hotel with a woman and nei-ther had wedding bands on. The perception was the minister and a ‘girlfriend’ were stay-ing together. What Pentecostals perceived as an outward sign of holiness (not wearing

gold ornaments), while others had a totally opposite perception.

BODY LANGUAGEIf I were to hold up my hand with two fin-gers pointing upward, what does that mean? In a ballpark it could be “two hotdogs.” At the conclusion of a ball game it could be a symbol for “victory.” In a war march the two fingers can mean “peace.” In a restaurant it may be perceived as, “I need two seats.” In the west when something is correct we make a circle using our pointing finger and thumb, indicating OK. In some setting out-side of the western hemisphere, the same signal can refer to a desire to have sexual intercourse. Words carry perceptions and images. What is considered slang in one na-tion could be cursing in another. The great-est danger is when our perceptions are used by the enemy to paint an untrue picture of a person or a circumstance.

HE WAS WITH A STRANGE WOMANMany years ago, dad was preaching a re-vival. After several nights, the atmosphere shifted and he sensed he was not connect-

ing with the congregation. The pastor later informed him that a member had seen dad with his arm around a young woman cross-ing the street, trying to ‘hide’ under an um-brella. The next night, dad asked his biologi-cal sister, Brenda, to stand. He informed the church a relative had been hospitalized and he took Brenda to the hospital when it was raining a few days back. He said, “I under-stand that some busy body made a comment about me with another woman. That wom-an is my sister!” A man in the church turned red faced, hung his head, as a few members looked in his direction, smirking. His per-ception was wrong and his words damaged a revival.

I also recall a time when Pam appeared with me on a Manna-Fest program. Pam is a behind the scenes leader and is a bit un-comfortable publicly speaking. After the program aired, she received a letter from a woman rebuking her for her lack of excite-ment, lack of joy and basically condemning her for presenting such a bad image for a minister’s wife on television. I wrote the critic back to inform her that Pam had just had a miscarriage, was heartbroken, and was very sick when she agreed to join me. The judgmental spirit is so evil and wrong.

BELIEVING A LIEWhen nearing the conclusion of his life, Paul fell victim to a political lie that cost him most of his friendships. Nero in a rage against the Roman Senate, burnt Circus Maximus, destroying over seventy per-cent of the stores and markets, blaming the blaze on Christians, penning Paul’s name in a plot to destroy Rome. As the rumor spread throughout the empire, persecution broke loose against Christians and many Christians in Asia believed Nero’s lie caus-ing them to turn against Paul. Without any hardcore evidence, only a rumor, people re-acted. Paul wrote:

“You already know that all who are in Asia turned away and forsook me, Phygel-us and Hermogenes among them. May the Lord grant [His] mercy to the family of One-siphorus, for he often showed me kindness and ministered to my needs [comforting, reviving and embracing me like fresh air!]

He was not ashamed of my chains and im-prisonment [for Christ’s sake].

“No, rather when he reached Rome, he searched diligently and eagerly for me and found me.” – 2 Tim. 1:15-17 (AMP)

Paul also noted:“At my first answer no man stood with

me, but all men forsook me: I pray to God that it may not be laid to their charge. Not-withstanding the Lord stood with me…” (2 Tim. 4:16-17)

Human nature is strange. People love a hero, will support an underdog but will run from a successful person when it is rumored or proven they have experienced some neg-ative circumstances, especially some moral or spiritual failure.

KNOW BEFORE YOU SPEAKYears ago, a U.S. Senator investigated six major Christian ministries for financial abuse. Most of the six were completely cleared of any impropriety. However, before the final verdict, the internet slammed with armchair jurors, all Christians, provided the nails and crosses to openly crucify, destroy and ‘put in prison’ all of these “crooked” ministers. One godly woman, Joyce Meyer, was accused of buying a $23,000 commode.

The “perception” from the word commode was a $23,000 toilet! Once that assumption was made, it suddenly was a gold-plated toi-let, and on and on the Christian gossip spe-cialists barked. Here are the facts from an eye-witness, not a rumor monger!

“I’ve seen her $23,000 commode. It is a piece of antique furniture donated to her ministry to specifically sit in the lobby of her office. An antique commode is not a toilet. It is a chest of drawers that people once sat water pitchers on to wash” – Phil Cooke

The thousands of outspoken critics were the ones who had “excrement” on their faces! The only thing worse than ignorance being given credibility is when other igno-rant persons repeat the lie. I am very firm on what I am saying as I have witnessed churches, ministries and good people nearly ruined for life due to the wrong information being promoted as truth.

Christ taught not to judge others lest you be judged, with the same measure you judge others, you will also be judged (not just on earth but in eternity - Matt. 5:25). Christ taught that out of your own mouth he would judge you (Luke 19:22). Christ also said that men judge others after the flesh (appear-ance of things) but he judges no man by the

flesh (he judges the heart and the intent - John 8:15).

“And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that re-jects me, and receives not my words, hath one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” - John 12:47-48

THE RULES OF PERCEPTIONFirst of all, if it is not my business I have no desire to make it my business as I have to care for my own business. Second, I have no rights to put myself into any conversa-tion that I am not invited or welcomed into. Third your “reliable source” may not be real — lie able, meaning the story may not be all truth and partial truth corrupts total truth and cracks the facts to the point of weakening them. I have learned that should I want the truth or the facts I should go di-rectly to, not a source, but the person the incident involves.

Remember, things are not always as they are first perceived and when judging a situ-ation, we must judge by the Word of God, spiritual discernment and not flawed hu-man perception.

Suicide is increasing globally, and the causes can be caused by neurological disorders, various forms of medicine, depression, or oppression and at times pressure from a spirit. We must understand the reasons for suicide and protect and pray for those who battle the temptation to end their life. This is a very compassionate and needed teaching at this time.

OPPRESSION, DEPRESSION, AND SUICIDE

VOICE OF EVANGELISM | JUNE / JULY / AUGUST 2018 9

What do our departed loved ones know and how is it possible at times for some believers to see someone in a vision who has passed away? This is an amazing study that has blessed and amazed those who have loved-ones in heaven!

The greatest spirit you will battle in this season will be the temptation to “faint” and to “give up” before your prayer is answered. This dynamic expose on end time praying will set a fire in your spirit and release encouragement for you to believe God for answers to your most desperate prayers. This teaching Includes the Rizpah Principle for getting the Lord’s attention!

HOW TO GET YOUR PRAYERS ANSWERED IN THE END-TIME

The departed souls of the righteous once dwelt in an underground chamber called “Abraham’s Bosom,” but are now transported by angels to the third heaven to a special garden called “paradise!”

WE OFTEN SPEAK OF DREAMS and vi-sions, in terms of both things we have seen in the spirit and ideas or concepts formed in our hearts. When God grants you a lit-eral vision, God takes on the responsibility of bringing it to pass in cooperation with the individual receiving it. When the Lord instructed me to “build a gathering place for a generation,” the OCI facility did not drop from the sky to Cleveland like the fu-ture New Jerusalem will do. I had to pur-chase the land, hire the architect and raise the funds. It required obedience and action to bring to pass God’s will. However, one of the most challenging aspects of the Chris-tian walk is for those who follow and sup-port a ministry vision to maintain a strong level of commitment as time passes, when during a dry season there is little visible

evidence of what has been spoken or pre-dicted by the leadership coming to pass.

I am a visionary and those working with me are fully aware that on any given day I may receive an “and suddenly” from the world above, walk into an office saying to the staff, “We are going to do such and such. Let’s start planning and researching for it NOW!” At times the plan makes little to no sense and even contradicts the pres-ent circumstances. When I was planning OCI, it was an 18 million-dollar project and we were short 14 million dollars, with no possibility of any local bank loan as-sistance. However, peace undergirded my vision and confidence in the Word of the Lord continually motivated me. When the plan is “God’s will” it becomes “God’s bill.” The key is knowing the will of the Father

and walking steadfast on a path of inner peace when the circumstances are not lin-ing up.

The VOE “mission statement” consists of a Seven Point Outreach Plan that has been followed since 1978. The arms of this outreach have pulled in global partners, connecting with our assignments. How-ever, after forty years of ministry I have observed there is an “attrition rate” where only about 25% of those who connect with the ministry, remain connected through the years. Some older partners have de-parted this life for their eternal reward. Others as they retire are unable to continue their support or find themselves raising grandchildren. Some discover other min-istries, connecting with them, while others simply drop away, and you never see them

What Will You Do With The Fourth Process?

VOICE OF EVANGELISM | JUNE / JULY / AUGUST 2018 13

again in a local or regional event. Churches experience these same cycles of member-ship arrivals and departures.

The ministry vision of both traveling evangelists and local churches will see the following phases emerge over time with their membership and partnership.

THE FIRST PHASE: EXCITEMENTIndividuals and families connect with a ministry because they sense an excitement not found in other churches or ministries. We see this during our major conferences, when parents speak about moving to Cleve-land because of the anointing, joy and unity they see among the OCI family. However, some move not realizing we work as well as pray. The OCI ministry has one main service and a Thursday night prayer meeting each week. I continue traveling throughout the year hosting regional conferences. Some in-dividuals arrive with pre-conceived ideas of how things will be. One man moved to town saying, “God told me I would spend 4 hours in Perry’s office every day with him mentor-ing me.” I knew his “God said” was not from God because I spend my days with the Lord or working with staff. Basically, the fellow wanted attention and if he wanted “mentor-ing,” I have hundreds of messages that could teach him much of what he wanted to learn, or he could take the two Mentoring Pro-grams through ISOW. When the excitement of the new building, the services and the conferences begin fading, the second phase creeps into the life of the believer. Excite-ment comes with experiencing new things. Israel was excited when they took their first city, Jericho and they were ready for future battles. However, over time they stopped fighting and became comfortable among the pagan tribes!

THE SECOND PHASE: SETTLING INFor those who choose to remain with you and your vision, settling in eventually oc-curs. The person finds a job, an apartment or a home, soon becoming involved within the ministry. These individuals get used to the new buildings, programs and confer-ences, continuing to follow the vision of the house, just as the “Joshua generation” stood

with Joshua conquering 31 Canaanite cities, eventually repossessing and settling in the Promised Land.

During any settling in process the person builds relationships, becomes familiar with leadership and church members, through spending time assisting or volunteering as a team player in various forms of ministry. The settling in process is short for some and longer for others, often depending upon the person’s personality and their level of involvement. However, over time the indi-vidual may be informed of other churches or ministries making a spiritual impact, or “doing more for God.” At times the person perceives a better opportunity to “use their gift” or “ministry” in another place, caus-ing an unsettling in their spirit. The person begins questioning if they are presently in God’s will and perhaps “God” is leading them to transition to a new place.

THE THIRD PHASE: RESTLESSNESSRestlessness can result from spiritual bore-dom or wrong expectations. Using a personal example, in the past we have families move to OCI thinking that I would allow them to preach, teach, sing, or give them a platform

for ministry. We have never promised any-one any ministry position if they move and never will. Others believe by transitioning in the area they will eventually be hired to work at OCI, VOE or ISOW. At times these individuals perceive the “ministry” as all day prayer, falling out in the spirit and lay-ing on the floor experiencing visions and dreams. Those who believe being in minis-try is a “non-stop revival,” would have been so disappointed with Paul, as he spent much of his ministry in jail, or jumping from city to city running from death threats. Paul’s re-vivals led to riots or incarceration. In fact, Demas, a co-laborer with Paul eventually left the Apostle Paul because of dangerous persecution. Demas “loved this present world” and when the ministry was not what he expected he bailed out (2 Tim. 4:10)

Paul was also bold to rebuke erring church members and many contemporary Christians would have left the ministry of-fended, saying Paul was not a loving shep-herd (1 Cor. 5:5). Others would (and did) separate from Paul after a lying rumor spread out of Rome that Paul was responsi-ble for the great fire in Rome (Nero was the actual culprit). This false rumor cost Paul most of his friends, as indicated when Paul penned his final epistle. He wrote, “All men have forsaken me” (2 Tim 4:16).

In a local setting, when the church board becomes bored and the members settle into spiritual mummification, their restlessness can lead to manipulation. Israel laid blame for their discontent on “Pastor Moses” when their circumstances began turning negative. Leaving Egypt was exciting but when plans changed and the wilderness became their home, daily living was a restless routine. In their minds, if they could not change their circumstances they would change their lead-ership! They plotted to stone Moses, which begs the question, “Who would their leader be when they kill the man who controls the miracle rod that God is using to split the sea and crack rocks to get water flowing?” They were biting the hand of the man that God was using to help them, yet this restless reasoning was blinding their common sense.

When church attendees become restless, instead of an internal makeover they seek

“WHEN CHURCH ATTENDEES BECOME RESTLESS, INSTEAD

OF AN INTERNAL MAKEOVER THEY

SEEK TO ROOT OUT WHAT THEY

DISAPPROVE, HOPING THE SEPARATION WILL RESTORE EXCITEMENT.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT WITH THE “HEAD” (THE LEADER) BUT

WITH THEIR “HEART” (BAD ATTITUDE).”

VOICE OF EVANGELISM | JUNE / JULY / AUGUST 201814

to root out what they disapprove, hoping the separation will restore excitement. The problem is not with the “head” (the leader) but with their “heart” (bad attitude). When you become tired of the new stuff, the new programs, the latest conference, and sitting beside the same people each week, then you become bored and must either decide to fight for a joy restoration or flee from your frustration. The fight or flight kicks in. This is where you must make the choice to ac-cept or avoid the fourth phase.

THE FOURTH PHASE: RECONNECTPhase three brings you to phase four; a choice — to disconnect or reconnect. For most, reconnecting is more a mental as-cent. Reconnecting is often accomplished through spiritual renewal. When the joy of your salvation is lost, then your strength will diminish as, “the joy of the Lord is your strength” (Neh. 8:10). If you are discontent with yourself your spiritual perception will be distorted. Fault finding is easy when you take the mirror off of yourself and flash it in

the face of others. You want them to see the blemishes on their face while ignoring the acne on yours! The small speck of sawdust in their eye is no comparison to the log pro-truding from the critic (Matt. 7:3).

At times ministers must also reconnect with their congregations. One of my dearest pastor friends spent years in Ohio pastoring in a strong Catholic community, reaching souls but at a much slower pace than he an-ticipated. Years ago, he discussed this lack of spiritual harvest with Dr. Lester Sumrall. He told Lester he was planning on resigning the church, accepting a pastorate in anoth-er city. Dr. Sumrall looked at him and said, “Too bad you are going to leave and another man is going to get your harvest.” Lester explained, “All of the seeds you are plant-ing in this city must at some point mature and bring forth fruit. You will leave before you can enjoy the fruit of your labor and the next pastor will receive the harvest from what you are now planting.” The pastor chose to stay and as the years have passed he has experienced a steady harvest.

If you pastor a church, or host a minis-try, when individuals choose to leave for “greener pastures” or for a better opportu-nity, bless them as they depart and let them depart in peace. At times, those who discon-nected will in the future reconnect when their heart and spirit have been renewed. There are times the Holy Spirit may point believers into a different direction for a sea-son. However, a person should only transi-tion when they are at complete peace with the change and not when they are despon-dent, discouraged and unsettled. At times it is not “Pastor Moses” or a dry wilderness walk making you restless, but a disconnect from God’s presence or personal dissatisfac-tion. Without God’s presence we are on life-support and require artificial spirituality to sustain us. Get a right heart and a right mind and reconnect to what God originally prom-ised you, and stay faithful where you have been planted, because as Jonah learned, it is better to go straight to Nineveh than to end up on a whale of a submarine ride out of God’s will!

“THERE ARE TIMES THE HOLY SPIRIT MAY POINT BELIEVERS INTO A DIFFERENT DIRECTION FOR A SEASON. HOWEVER, A

PERSON SHOULD ONLY TRANSITION WHEN THEY ARE AT COMPLETE PEACE WITH THE CHANGE AND NOT WHEN THEY

ARE DESPONDENT, DISCOURAGED AND UNSETTLED.”

Because of the number of assaults on Christian families and their children, Perry felt he should address such issues with this teaching. The two message topics include:

• Satan Get Your Hands off My Family

• Breaking Satanic Resistance in Your Family

Take this teaching to heart and put into practice the spiritual principles you will learn to counter attack and take back lost sons, daughters, and the family bloodline!

Women are seldom, if ever, listed in Jewish genealogy. However, five women are listed in the New Testament genealogies which trace the lineage of the Messiah. After much study, Perry saw that these five women can actually represent the five different types of women that Christ ministers to, some found in the church and some found in the world. All women will be blessed to hear this inspirational and touching message, revealing that Christ is the Messiah for all types of women!

Israel Tour Almost FullFOR THE FIRST TIME in thirty-two years, both of our back to back Israel tours are about full. The challenge this year is with 2018 being Israel’s 70th anniversary, tourism is breaking records with Holy Land pilgrims pouring in from all nations. Trying to get additional hotel rooms is virtually impossible and airline seats are at a premium (supply and demand). If you wish to journey with us, please contact Noseworthy Travel (ASAP) at 1-800-929-4684 (option 2). We are planning several exciting additions to our tour this November, should all of the details be worked out!

God Is Opening Unique DoorsSEVERAL MINISTRY PARTNERS and friends have deeded property to VOE to use for whatever ministry purposes we deem practical and necessary. One location is in Colorado and the other is 82 acres located here in Cleveland. I am praying for the Lords will on what to build on these properties (especially in Cleveland), as there are possibilities such as a foster care center, a wholeness Center for addictions, an unwed mothers home and numerous possible opportunities. We desire you to agree in prayer with us for the Will of God to be revealed and for His timing and assistance.

It Hit a Spiritual NerveI WAS UNAWARE WHEN WE PRINTED MY NEW BOOK Feeding Demons, that the Biblical research taught in this landmark book would “strike a spiritual nerve” with practically every person having read the book! I was unaware of the widespread distribution of demonic depression, strange attacks on children, and spirit of weakness (infirmity) plaguing so many in the Body of Christ. The timing of this book is perfect. Chapter six in the book, “Defeating Chronic Battles and Repetitive Spirits” has been an eye-opener for many readers. I implore you to obtain and read this book. Because of the significance of this subject, we are preparing a small group study using this book.

The Ministry LodgeTHE BEAUTIFUL AND RUSTIC THREE STORY OCI LOG LODGE located on the back of the property is a much-needed addition for our ministry. Our OCI facility has no available office space and our small groups were scattered throughout the building. The 20,000 square foot lodge presently serves as offices, small group rooms and a youth center - all under one structure. Being good stewards of ministry finances, we set out to select a lodge building company, the right general contractor and construction team to build this facility. Our contractor saved the ministry money and came in right on budget. A great thank you to Ray Garner, an amazing contractor and to Israel and his entire team of 10 workers who worked long hours and maintained the highest work ethic and quality control to complete the task.

In the future, this lodge will also serve as the “camp headquarters” for a future “Warrior-Camp,” one of our largest ministry projects, I hope to complete within the next few years as God provides us with His “miracle finances” to execute this plan. This will be a youth camp in the summer and a ministry training center throughout the year.

Perry Stone Small Group StudyONE OF OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS, TAMMY JAMES, has done a masterful job at preparing and launching an upcoming new outreach, The Perry Stone Small Group Studies. She has carefully read and studied several of my books, prepared the discussion questions and the master teacher’s guide. You will be hearing more details soon about this outreach being prepared for small group settings. I will be taping the 30-minute sessions as part of each course soon. We anticipate tremendous results with these easy to understand yet in-depth small group resources. These small group sessions will be centered around specific books I have written. The 30-minute personal contact videos (or DVDS) accompanying each study set will add to the spiritual enrichment of each member in the group! We will post on Facebook when the first group study is available (Perry Stone Ministries Facebook). Also, please remember we do NOT send out friends request on Facebook. These are fake posts of people who will ask for money and we do NOT do that on Facebook. NOT YET AVAILABLE — COMING SOON!

Why We Do Not Livestream EventsAT TIMES WE ARE ASKED WHY WE DO NOT LIVESTREAM our events from OCI. There are numerous reasons for this, which would require a long explanation. For one, when the Spirit is moving strong especially in the youth events, horrible critics come on blasting the kids for be-ing “heretics,” “of the devil,” “emotionally unstable,” and spew demonic hatred. These comments can be read by the youth and causes hurt and they cannot understand why people would say such things. Also, we have had difficulty dealing with some views in the past and the list goes on. Also, the ministry is geared toward altar calls and it is impossible to reach through the screen and lay hands upon someone for prayer. Also, it is the World-Wide-Web and at times information is preached that should NOT be made public to the general population. Thus, we tape the programs for people to see it in their homes.

Cruising with the ‘Oldies’PAM LOVES A CRUISE. In our thirty-six years of marriage we have been on several large ships touring islands and nations. However, my personal favorite was Alaska. Pam has always desired to book a cruise, inviting partners and friends to join us. Presently, we have over 425 men and women joining us for our 60th Birthday at Sea Alaskan cruise on the new Norwegian ship, the Bliss. We will also port in Canada. We only have 60 different rooms available (various types) for this June 2019 event. The ship departs from Seattle, Washington. To be in our special meetings at sea, you must book through Noseworthy Travel. Someone called this “cruising with the oldies,” which I thought was funny. However, turning sixty is not ‘old,’ especially when the Lord said, “man’s days shall be one hundred twenty,” so I’m just half way there (LOL)! Go on line at perrystone.org for more information or contact Noseworthy Travel at 1-800-929-4684 (option 2), to book the cruise (or Israel tour) or for more information. Please note that in 2019, we will not host a Partner’s meeting in Cleveland as the cruise will replace the event in 2019.

Genesis to Revelation UpdateTHE SIZE OF MY OLD TESTAMENT COMMENTARY is 500,000 words: over twice the words as my New Testament commentary. The agency preparing the Bible is proofreading and laying out each page to print the different numerous ‘signatures’ (sections) required for print production. The projected date for printing and distribution is at the end of the year or the beginning of 2019. Reading the commentary printed in this Bible is equal to reading 10 books that are 250 pages each! Our team selected 15,000 printed partners versions (blue leather cover) and 50,000 standard Old Testaments (chestnut covers), matching the covers of my New Testament commentary. Once these are sold, we have no plans to reprint either the New or Old Testaments. There are other possibilities we will review when that time comes. Partner’s will be the first to know when this Bible is completed.

2:  Spirits that are Battling Your Children Preached live in Knoxville, Tennessee

The greatest warfare is when your children are addicted, in bondage or not in service with God. This message will dig into the Satanic warfare and help parents or grandparents have the weapons to defeat the spirits attacking their children!

3:  Warring for the Fulfillment of Ancient Prophecies Preached live in Knoxville, Tennessee

The greatest expose in the Bible that gives understanding of true spiritual warfare with demonic powers is concealed in the book of Daniel. The battles from chapters 10-12, are the reason for a strong prince demon resisting Daniel for three weeks. This is a much-needed message to explore the reasoning behind Satanic interference in America, the world and in your personal life.

1:  Chronicles of the Day of the Lord Preached live in Hamilton, Ohio

The day of the Lord is a strong theme in the Bible and refers to a set time when God will transition the world spiritually and politically. Few ministers ever preach on the “Day of the Lord,” yet this is where the world is headed prophetically. Perry uses numerous verses to comment on this power “day” in the future.

4:  Discerning the Times and the Seasons We Are In Preached live in Maumee, Ohio

The heavens will receive Christ until a specific collision of “times and seasons” (Acts 1:7) and after a major “restitution of all things” (Acts 3:21). When times and seasons collide then the “fullness of times” occurs and this becomes the activity that leads to the return of Christ! Discover what time we are in!

I HAVE PERSONALLY SELECTED THESE 6 MESSAGES– P E R R Y S T O N E

5:  Strange Mysteries Connected to the Rapture Preached live in Tipp City, Ohio

How can so many people suddenly disappear, and yet the New Testament is silent on the world’s reaction — or is it silent? Why does the world enter complete chaos, fighting, and rationing of food early in the tribulation? The key is to understand the EMP effect of lightning at the Rapture and other mysteries Perry expounds upon in this detailed expose on the strange mysteries of Christ’s return!

6:  When Earthly Times and Prophecy Collides Preached live in Tipp City, Ohio

God has set specific events in times and seasons and uses specific time cycles to invoke His spoken Word to earth’s inhabitants. Prophecy is fulfilled in single events or a combination of events occurring all at once. When earthly times and the prophetic events collide, there is a compression of time and the other prophecies begin to move at a faster rate toward their fulfillment. This message deals with the time compression in many ancient Biblical predictions.

After nearly forty years of comprehensive research probing Old and New Testament prophecies and encountering the powers of darkness, renowned biblical teacher Perry Stone releases Feeding Demons to carefully reveal the operational skills, deceptive tactics, and crafty methods of battle that demons possess.

Feeding Demons is not intended to glorify the presence, power, or plots of the adversary, but is written to exposé their strategies and enlighten believers, teaching them to enforce their authority, provided through the redemptive covenant of Christ!

Now, in Feeding Demons, Perry Stone:

• elaborates on the history of heavenly and demonic spirits within the context of the ancient church;

• argues that demonic spirits feed off of sins of the flesh and are energized and made stronger when acts of sin are committed; and

• provides ways that readers can set boundaries against these spirits and break free from their hold.
