And another 11 colleagues being engaged in MDM maturity models, Data Governance initiatives, MDM consulting & projects, modern/ flexible SW-Architectures & Blueprints, holding & host Webinars & Online conferences

… fighting a “fire” we had not dealt with before

with significant impacts on our personal life

… on our families & daily routines

… on our places, methods & ways of working

… on our resilience, inner strength & authority.

While we were faced with lots of uncertainties

… on the changes of “business as usual”

… on the severity of impacts on our customers, their companies, their projects, the economy

…on multiple chain reactions & domino effects.

Pressure to further maximise cost- & work efficiency -over short time & (company) holidays!

Needless to say, but … - effective IT gadgets (!)

Collaboration tools MS Teams, JIRA etc. vital for transparent tasks & trusted “offline” work

New tools, e.g. retro board, voting tool, iRooms

Pragmatic documentations & meeting minutes

Re-think codes of conduct & work discipline

Tailor & orchestrate communications even more: audience, moderation, Q&A, feedback

Short regular “virtual coffee/ tea breaks”

Adapting working methods

Fortunately 0 of 13 projects stopped completely

Most assignments kept going as planned -only onsite meetings shifting to virtual sessions

Some projects slowed down (short-time work)

Work on SECCONT (STEP Extension) continued

Travel costs went down to 10% (on average)

Overall revenues March till August > 100%!

A customer success story: 8 weeks before go live Corona hit the project. It resulted in 3 weeks customer company holiday - with the external vendors continuing in “radio silence”. Due to the joint team spirit all 3 go lives were on time

Impacts on numbers

STIBO SYSTEMS

1. Visualise & manage the ROI of STEP

2. Assess MDM maturity & efficiency

3. Establish overall KPI controlling lifecycle

4. “Start small & think big” Data Quality targets

5. Live data governance in daily operations

6. Increase share-of-wallets (customers, partners, locations, other domains etc.)

7. Find & deliver quick wins (“Excel hunting”)

8. Increase STEP usage & make people happy

9. Release planning (Pains, DAM, DQ, SaaS)

10. Slow re-vitalising of new business & projects

Business drivers & roadmaps

STIBO SYSTEMS

Many silver linings - after 6 months “under attack”

Measures taken > ongoing & secured revenues

Less face2face meetings > no drop in relations

Adapted toolsets > working hours more efficient

Less travel (time) > increased project profit

Less travel (time) > improved work life balance

Creative consulting & offerings > win-win-win

A key learning: If we cultivate high performance teams & trusted relationships – we unlock business success – and ultimately prosperity!
