Solid Ductwork TD Pre-insulated Duct Board

Airlinx manufactures Solid Ductwork and associated components with TD Pre-Insulated Aluminium Duct Board.

TD Pre-Insulated Aluminium Duct Board is an aluminium double skin pre-insulated sandwich panel that has been developed as an alternative light weight option to traditional sheet metal Ductwork and Fittings.

Manufactured from Polyisocyanurate with a thickness of 20mm, which is then laminated on both sides with embossed aluminium foil of 75 microns in thickness.

Airlinx TD Pre-Insulated Duct Board has a thermal rating of R1.5 and has a 4 Zero Fire Rating which has been tested to fully comply with all relevant standards by both VIPAC & AWTA.

TD Pre-Insulated Aluminium Duct offers extremely good consistency of density throughout the sheet. The TD Pre-Insulated Aluminium Duct has the embossed foil applied in the initial manufacturing process ensuring an even and consistent application across the whole sheet & ensuring that the foil does not delaminate.

Airlinx provides TD Pre-Insulated Aluminium Duct as an economical alternative to sheet metal manufacture and an effective solution for air distribution ductwork and insulation applications.

Airlinx is able to manufacture Solid Ductwork from small to large building projects.

Our staff will consult with project managers for estimating, and time requirements of each stage of the building process, to ensure that our customers receive quality ductwork on time and within budget.

Internal Insulated Spiro

Made from Galvanised Steel using the latest technology to ensure that Airlinx Spiro is water tight. Using suitable gauges for strength, Spiro can be manufactured up to 6m in length and up to 1.6m in diameter. Galvanised Steel gauges 24#, 22#, 20# and 18#.

Spiro can be used in Air conditioning, Ventilation, Concrete Formwork and Pier Liners. Spiro in Available as Plain, Externally Insulated with R1 and R2 Insulation, Internally Insulated, and Acoustic with Internal Perforated Core.

Stainless Steel Spiro can be manufactured upon request in Stainless Steel Grades of 304 and 316.

Made to order, Airlinx will manufacture Internal Insulated Spiro with two layers of Spiro.

The outer Spiro will be Plain, with the internal Spiro being either Plain or Perforated.

Insulation can be 20mm, 50mm, 75mm or 100mm thick and should be stated when ordering.

Airlinx is able to manufacture Spiro Duct up to 6m in length with diameters up to 1.6m with an 18# / 1.2mm gauge. Prices available on request.

Spiro Joiners

Zinc Plated Mild Steel, to cap Spiro Duct, sizes up to 300mm diameter are manufactured using press construction. Sizes above and including 350mm may be made from Galvanised Steel manufactured by Airlinx.

Spiro Joiners made from Galvanised Steel with the smaller sizes sold with a rubber seal to ensure a tight seal between Airlinx Spiro Duct and the Spiro Joiner.

Grille Saddle For Spiro Ductwork

Custom made Spiro Saddles are made from Galvanised Steel, which will enable a branch in the existing Spiro Duct and allow another Spiro to slip over the top of the branch.

This kind of saddle is used for the installation of flat faced grilles onto circular spiro duct. Note: Curved Face Grilles are also available from Airlinx to mount directly onto circular Spiro Duct.

• Airlinx Flexible Ducts Exceed Australian building standards

• Airlinx Flexible Ducts are made with a 40mm pitch, are extremely strong and due to tighter pitch our flexible duct won’t sag when bent.

• Our insulated Ducts have a 100mm excess of insulation to overlap on connection and improve insulation properties in joins.

• Insulation is standard R1 and the grammage is 450mm per square meter, ensuring a high quality and effective product.



In Australia, Airlinx manufactures high quality ducting systems that comply in accordance with Australian Standard AS-4254, and exceed the Australian Standard on pressure holding and noise reduction criteria.

Nude Duct is manufactured from metallised polyester film and hard cord wire. Smoke index is three zero.

Thermal Rating R1 Flexible Duct is manufactured with a metallised film core a polyester insulation at 60mm thick, with a outside metallised sleeve.

Mixflow FansAirlinx Inline exhaust fans are ducted fans that come in a variety of models and sizes.

Our inline fan range covers residential, commercial and industrial applications.

There are three types of inline exhaust fans:

Axial inline exhaust fans have a single propeller and are good at moving larger amounts of air at low pressure, that is with a minimum of restrictions

to air flow, like short lengths of duct, few bends, no branches, etc.

Centrifugal inline exhaust fans move good volumes of air against high pressure. This means they can be used for longer runs of duct, branches, bends, etc.

Mixflow inline exhaust fans are a mixture between the axial and centrifugal models. They have good airflow and good pressure characteristics, can be used for longer runs of duct, bends, branches, etc.

They show centrifugal fan characteristics from a size of 150mm upwards and axial fan

characteristics for sizes smaller than 150 mm.

Each product has detailed information on its size and capacity, specifications,

pressure curves, features and accessories.

Air Diffusion Equipment

Ceiling Diffusers are designed for Supply Air applications in Ceilings and are typically provided with a 4 Way Blow pattern for an even distribution of air. Ceiling Diffusers can also be provided with internal blanking plates to achieve a 1-way, 2-way or 3-way blow distribution pattern to suit the spacial layout of the room.

Typical installations are for residential, commercial, retail and industrial applications including offices, hospitals, shops, hotels, restaurants and schools.

Construction

Ceiling Diffusers are manufactured from extruded aluminium with internal louvres and a frame that is suitable for lay-in ceiling applications and for surface mounting in plasterboard or similar ceilings.

Description

Curved Blade Diffusers (Eyelash Grilles) are designed for Supply Air applications in Ceilings and are available with a 1, 2, 2 and 4 Way Blow pattern. Curved Blade Diffusers (Eyelash Grilles) are commonly used in Evaporative Cooling Systems and provide a very versatile distribution pattern and excellent diffusion characteristics to suit the spacial layout of the room.

Typical installations are for residential, commercial, retail and industrial applications including homes, offices, hospitals, shops, hotels, restaurants and schools.

Construction

Curved Blade Diffusers (Eyelash Grilles) are manufactured from extruded aluminium with internal adjustable curved blades that are securely held in place with high tensile spring wire. The surround frame is suitable for lay-in ceiling applications and for surface mounting in plasterboard or similar ceilings.

Standard stock sizes are available, however due to the multiple blow patterns and size configurations available these are generally made to order in our factory. Please refer to table of Air Patterns.

Description

Airlinx Linear Slot Diffusers are designed for high performance applications and have been engineered to provide flexibility for air distribution in Supply Air, Return Air and Exhaust Air applications.

Incorporating a 19mm slot, Linear Slot Diffusers provide an aesthetically pleasing design and are suitable for installation in Ceilings or Sidewall applications.

Linear Slot Diffusers are available with the number of slots ranging from 1 to 10. Each slot incorporates individual air pattern control blades that can be adjusted from the face of the Slot Diffuser providing 180 degree horizontal and vertical airflow pattern adjustment.

Linear Slot Diffusers can be installed as individual sections or in a continuous line and can be installed in any type of ceiling application.

Typical installations are for residential, commercial and retail applications including homes, offices, hospitals, shops, hotels, restaurants and schools.

Construction

Airlinx Linear Slot Diffusers are manufactured from extruded aluminium with a removable internal pattern control blade assembly that is securely held in place with high tensile spring clips.

Standard stock sizes are available, however due to the multiple slot configurations available these are generally made to order in our factory.

Double Deflection Registers Model G-DDR

Description

Airlinx Double Deflection Registers (also commonly referred to as a Universal Register) are designed for Supply Air applications and are typically used in wall or duct mounted installations.

With an aesthetically pleasing design, Double Deflection Registers have two sets of fully adjustable individual blades. The front set off blades run parallel to the long dimension and the rear set runs parallel to the short dimension. Each blade is individually adjustable providing maximum flexibility for both horizontal and vertical air throw.

Airlinx have a wide range of core and frame style options providing versatility for all design and installation applications. Single Deflection Registers are also available with horizontal adjustable blades or alternatively front vertical blades


Construction

Airlinx Double Deflection Registers are manufactured from extruded aluminium. The core consists of horizontal blades at the front complimented by rear vertical blades at the rear. The blades have an aerofoil design and each blade is individually adjustable at spacings of 20mm.

Standard stock sizes are available, and custom sizes are made to order in our factory.

Core Options

Airlinx Double Deflection Registers can be manufactured with a Fixed or a Removable Core.

Standard flange is 25mm

For accurate control of air flow, Airlinx Double Deflection Registers can be provided with optional Opposed Blade and Stream Splitter Dampers.

Construction

Airlinx Egg Crate Grilles are manufactured from an extruded aluminium frame and the core is comprised of an aluminium lattice with each square measuring 12.5mm2 and 12.5mm deep.

Standard stock sizes are available for R/Air, Transfer, Exhaust Grilles, and custom sizes are made to order in our factory.

Core Options

Airlinx Egg Crate Grilles can be manufactured as Core Only, Fixed Core, Loose Core along with Removable and / or Hinged Core with (or without) removable filter.

Standard flange is 25mm and a U channel is used on Removable and Hinged Core options

Description

Airlinx Plastic Circular Jet Diffusers are specifically designed for ceiling installations in both Supply Air and Exhaust Air applications.

In Supply Air applications, Airlinx Plastic Circular Jet Diffusers provide excellent air distribution in heating applications where the air is directed downwards to the floor and creating an efficient delivery of air in contrast to conventional ceiling diffusers, where heated air is prone to stratification at high level on the ceiling. The design of the cone in the Jet Diffuser ensures that the heated air is delivered downwards quickly providing comfort where needed. Airlinx Plastic Circular Jet Diffusers feature a butterfly damper in the neck for air flow volume control which can be easily adjusted from the face of the diffuser using the centre push in knob.

Airlinx Plastic Circular Jet Diffusers are ideal for Toilet, Bathroom and Laundry Exhaust Grilles and the integrated butterfly damper can be adjusted to accurately set the desired air volume.

The neck size of these Floor Registers is 300mm x 100mm which is a standard size and are suitable for new installations as well as retrofit of existing Floor Registers.

Description

Airlinx Floor Boots are designed specifically for ABS plastic Floor Registers and are manufactured from high density black Polyethylene. Complete with a collar to enable a secure and easy connection to the flexible duct system the floor boot contains an adjustable damper providing the ability to control the amount of air from each register to each room.

With an aesthetically pleasing design, Airlinx Heavy Duty Floor grilles are manufactured from extruded aluminium with 5.1mm thick bars at 12.5mm spacing. Various flange styles are available to accommodate different floor systems and structures including 15mm, 30mm and flangeless. Airlinx Heavy Duty Floor Grilles can be installed as individual sections or in a continuous line providing versatility for all design and installation applications.

Description

Airlinx Opposed Blade Dampers (OBD’s) are a device that is designed to regulate airflow by a series of linked blades that rotate in an opposite direction. The design of the Opposed Blade Damper maintains an even and controllable air flow over all operating positions.

Opposed Blade Dampers are most commonly used in supply and exhaust systems to control the volume of air and achieve the desired air flow. Located directly behind the register or grille the opposed blade damper has an adjustment screw that can be accessed through the face of the register or grille.

Stream Splitter Dampers Model G-SSS


Description

Airlinx Stream Splitter Dampers (SSD’s) are a device that is designed scoop the air passing through a duct by a series of linked blades that rotate in a parallel direction. The Stream Splitter Damper blades have an adjustment screw that is accessed through the face of the registers, where the blades can be opened to capture more air from the duct or closed for less air as required.

The design of the Stream Splitter Damper provides an even air flow across the register face and further provides regulation of air flow over all operating positions.

Airlinx Steam Splitter Dampers should be fixed where the outlet connection to the grille joins the main supply duct in order to turn the air and provide a uniform distribution of air over the face of the grille.

Description

Airlinx Plain (Uninsulated) Cushion Boxes allow side entry or top entry air connections to Diffusers, Registers and Grilles. Plain Cushion Boxes are used in non-conditioned air applications such as ventilation and exhaust systems.

When ceiling height is limited side entry connections are ideal and flexible duct connections can be either round or oval. Balancing Dampers can be fitted to the round or oval flexible duct connection.

Description

Airlinx manufactures a large range of Cushion Boxes and Plenum Boxes with TD Pre-Insulated Aluminium Duct Board.

TD Pre-Insulated Aluminium Duct Board is an aluminium double skin pre-insulated sandwich panel that has been developed as an alternative light weight option to traditional sheet metal fabricated Cushion Boxes and Plenum Boxes.

Manufactured from Polyisocyanurate with a thickness of 20mm, which is then laminated on both sides with embossed aluminium foil of 75 microns in thickness.

Airlinx TD Pre-Insulated Duct Board has a thermal rating of R1.5 and has a 4 Zero Fire Rating which has been tested to fully comply with all relevant standards by both VIPAC & AWTA.

TD Pre-Insulated Aluminium Duct offers extremely good consistency of density throughout the sheet. The TD Pre-Insulated Aluminium Duct has the embossed foil applied in the initial manufacturing process ensuring an even and consistent application across the whole sheet & ensuring that the foil does not delaminate.

Airlinx provides TD Pre-Insulated Phenolic Board Boxes as an economical alternative to sheet metal manufacture and an effective solution for all Cushion Box and Plenum Box applications.

Opposed Blade Dampers Model G-OBD

Description

Airlinx Opposed Blade Dampers (OBD’s) are a device that is designed to regulate airflow by a series of linked blades that rotate in an opposite direction. The design of the Opposed Blade Damper maintains an even and controllable air flow over all operating positions.

Opposed Blade Dampers are most commonly used in supply and exhaust systems to control the volume of air and achieve the desired air flow. Located directly behind the register or grille the opposed blade damper has an adjustment screw that can be accessed through the face of the register or grille.

Stream Splitter Dampers Model G-SSS

Description

Airlinx Stream Splitter Dampers (SSD’s) are a device that is designed scoop the air passing through a duct by a series of linked blades that rotate in a parallel direction. The Stream Splitter Damper blades have an adjustment screw that is accessed through the face of the registers, where the blades can be opened to capture more air from the duct or closed for less air as required.

The design of the Stream Splitter Damper provides an even air flow across the register face and further provides regulation of air flow over all operating positions.

Airlinx Steam Splitter Dampers should be fixed where the outlet connection to the grille joins the main supply duct in order to turn the air and provide a uniform distribution of air over the face of the grille.

Account Terms and Company Policies

1. Payment of all accounts is required by the due date being 30days from Invoice date. Should the customer default in the payment of their account then all monies shall become immediately due and payable to Airlinx. The customer shall indemnify Airlinx for all costs, fees, commission charges and disbursements charged by any debt collection agent or solicitor for the purpose of the collection or recovery of monies due and payable.

2. Goods and services Tax /GST are applicable to all transactions

3. Prices are subject to alteration without notice.

4. Payment made by Credit Card will incur 1.5% surcharge. (Visa & Mastercard only)

5. Delivery fees apply. Airlinx will not take responsibility for any loss, damage or deterioration of goods in transit. All risk for the goods passes to the Customer on delivery. Where the Customer expressly requests Airlinx to leave Goods outside Airlinx’s premises for collection or to deliver the Goods to an unattended location then such Goods shall be left at the Customer’s sole risk and it shall be the Customer’s responsibility to ensure the Goods are insured adequately.

6. Damages. Airlinx shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever due to failure by us to deliver the Goods (or any of them) promptly or at all, where due to circumstance beyond the control of Airlinx. The same situation is to apply to building sites – we do not accept any claim about loss or expense on installation.

7. Defects. The Customer shall inspect the Goods on delivery and shall within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery (time being of the essence) notify Airlinx of any alleged defect, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with the description or quote. The Customer shall afford Airlinx an opportunity to inspect the Goods within a reasonable time following delivery if the Customer believes the Goods are defective in any way.

For Goods damaged by local freight (excluding containers), the Customer must provide Airlinx with a photograph of any damaged Goods prior to the pallet being unpacked. If the Customer fails to comply with these provisions the Goods shall be presumed to be free from any defect or damage.

8. Return Policy – please note that a restocking and handling fee of 15% applies to any goods returned within 14days. Goods will only be accepted if they are in original condition. We do not accept goods returned after 30days. Custom made goods and Sprio duct will not be accepted for return by Airlinx.

9. For quotation, please check the quantities and products are to correct specifications. Airlinx is to be advised of any discrepancy or changes in writing. Airlinx HVAC products will not be liable for anything other than the quoted products.

10. If the Customer is an incorporated body, in consideration of and as an essential condition of the acceptance of this application by us the Customer do jointly and severally with the incorporated body and in it’s directors’ own names: Accept liability to Airlinx for the payment as all monies owned by the incorporated body. Bind the incorporated body and warrant the director his or her authority to bind the incorporated body. In the case of a Trustee Company, the customer acknowledges that the Trustee shall be liable for the account and that in addition, the assets of the Trust shall be available to meet payment of the account.

11. Personal Properties Securities Act 2009 (Cth) (“PPSA”) apply to customer who has signed up trading account with Airlinx which constitute a Security Agreement and create a Security Interest in favour Airlinx to secure the payment from time to time and at a time, including future advances.

12. For custom made items for customer who do not have an account with Airlinx, all items must be prepaid before manufacture.
