VISION TOWARDS SUCCESS

Noone becomes successful by accident. Success requires making a plan and sticking to it. Itis simple, but does require commitment; it is not hard to do, but does require hard work. Thegood news is that once you begin, the results start coming almost instantly. The miracle ofsuccessful living is that the smallest step towards success attracts more success! Here is avery brief outline of the key points that will help you achieve the highest levels of success.

1. Look into the nearest mirror - the person staring back at you is the only personresponsible for your success. Smile! No one else is the cause of your success or toblame for your short comings. Successful people take full responsibility for theiractions.

2. Smile back at your reflection. Successful people are cheerful, optimistic, and forwardthinking. If you think you don't have anything to smile about, smile anyway. Positivethoughts drive out negative thoughts. It's hard to have a negative thought while youare smiling!

3. Positive self-esteem is the foundation for success. Feel good about yourself and yourabilities, achievements and potential. Don't dwell on your mistakes. Remind andpraise yourself on your past accomplishments. Congratulate yourself for takingpositive steps toward a more successful future.

4. Believe in yourself. You are here for a purpose. God doesn't make extras just to fill inthe scenery. Find your mission and begin working to fulfill it.

5. Avoid unsuccessful people. Do not under any circumstances associate with negativepeople. Negative people are toxic; they destroy, they do not build. They are vampiresthat can live only by draining the life from others. The odds are greater that they willpull you down faster than you can lift them up. You can choose to stay away from allthe negative people in your life.

6. Write down your biggest goal, the one you most want to fulfill. Write it in the presenttense, "I am... ", "I have... ", "I contribute ... ". Success is the result of a personaldecision, so start your goal with "I". Read your goal aloud every morning and night.Tell people your goal. Make a plan to achieve your goal and stick to it.

7. Study the science of success. Read books, listen to tapes, watch videos and positiveTV programming. Talk to successful people and ask them how they becamesuccessful. Fill your mind with positive thoughts and give yourself positive self-affirmations.

8. Every day do something that brings you closer to your goal. Never give up. You canonly fail if you quit trying. Keep on keeping on and you will succeed. Achieving successrequires following a system. Begin today by putting these 12 points into daily practice.

Everybody experiences fear of failure, uncertainty, insecurity, low self-esteem, indecision, depression, nervousness and embarrassment. Successful people master these temporaryconditions by taking positive action, by sticking to thetr plan, by maintaining their vision ofthe future, by learning from setbacks and by redicatinq themselves to the pursuit of theirmission. By following these simple steps you will become Successful and achieve all that youdesire.

I am From

I am from the jewel of the crown,A colony no more, cracked in two like a fissure in the ground,

Born as an orange, green, and white flag,My past and my future are forever transformed.

I am from two countries fighting like siblinqs; To the gruesome horror of killing and being held in tiny cells with their shameful heads down,

My ancestors strain to escape the treacherous lifestyle of war and poverty,Battling for their lives like an animal trying to hide from its ravenous predator.

I am from a honeyed fragrance of mint leaves and dancing saris,Of vast treasures that all kings envy,

Yet Poverty strikes like a thrashing lightning bolt from the angry sky,Starving children, brave and fearless, like grand gladiators fighting for survival.

I am from a promised land,Escaping the poverty of hopelessness to the opportunity of a new beginning,

Striving for a new, like a baby beginning to bask in its first steps,A fruitful future in a different world ..

I am from the pink plush Barbie doll backpack,Two tiny miniature hands, holding on with perfect posture and poise,

Confidence rising in the air like the early morning dew,A vast ocean of experience lying ahead.

From a new land stretching as far as the eye can see,My country hold back tears of thee; I am a warrior.

INTROSPECTIONAbu bin Adham was a great altruist; of mankind servant loyal.Woke up once from a deep slumber, his mind in great turmoil.

He looked around a bit perplexed for the cause of this infraction.Anon a specter appeared and said "You need some introspection."

"Pray who are you?" bin Adham queried; "An none else but yourself.""Your alter ego "saith the elf" Forgotten aft put on the shelf."

"Today I want you to search your soul, rate all your bygone deeds.""To tell the bad from good in the harvest from your once sown seeds."

"All that you ever did in your life; you need now to evaluate.""To make it doubly sure your every act was right and strainght."

"Tis not enough be an open book, with nary a thing to hide.""But in my wanderings I Came to a land where life is an endless strife."

"Where just for a single square meal, many sell their child or wife." ."It's a land where most men always play a game of seek and hide."

"Seek pelf by means fair or foul and hide their darker side.""Where backdoor filching and deception are the preferred modes of crime."

"Where murder rape and acts felonious are sold apiece a diem."Where those who pledge and then forget to work for common weal

They lead one up the garden path, indeed to rob and stealThey gab and blab "Uplift the poor", but once they get the chairWith every eye on a piece of the pie, who cares for mass welfare

Where man vies with his fellowmen for just a low caste tag.Where faith is not for truth and honor, but to garner votes and brag.Where power means not ever being transparent open and veracious

'Tis meant to showcase 'I' with Guards and a bungalow big and spaciousBut ones who most need search their souls, are all this land's electors

Who vote for the brand and not real worth, get mauled by sly malefactors"They don't need those who bluff and bluster, build castles in the air,"

"Need those who set a level field so that the fight is fair.""If you crave for real change then pledge not ever to vote for a label."

"Vote those ones in, who're wise and clean, if you want a government stable."'Tis thus clear that to bloom and thrive none else need hold your hands.

You can by self, bring joy and cheer, just vote out all brigands.

REMEMBERANCEIf ever you feel a wee bereft

By those so dear to your heartReach out and touch a shining star

The brightest one: that stands apartIn firmament: aglow and bright

On a starlit summer night

When perhaps remembering youYour dearest ones glance at the skyIn that instant; and then perchance

That very star they too espyWhich holds within its tender clutch

Your warm and very own loving touchAnd then, imprison one of its beamsTill they wake up from their dreams

Or if you day dream when aloneOf times together with your ownThe tender past you always feel

Astir, alive in every boneDelve deep into the clouds adrift

Where sun peeps through a veal of mistYou might accost a vibgyor light

With colours ashimmer, a rainbow brightYou hold that rainbow from one end And hope

Your dear ones catch the other bend
