In India, the mantra “Om mani padme hum”

signifies not only the jewel of man's divinity living

within the lotus (the cosmos), but also the jewel of

cosmic divinity living within the lotus (man). In

other words, the mantra is saying, “I am in You and

You are in me,” thereby stating the unity and

brotherhood of all beings, as well as their inner

divine potential. This is the foremost thought and the belief that

Lotus family carries. A belief, that each individual

has potential to be a significant contributor to this

universe. It is this philosophy which drives us. A

philosophy which stems from the fact that

potential is not a constraint or limitation of

Geography, caste or creed. Each Individual has the

right to education, an education in the right

context and in the manner that would help him

earn his livelihood. Lotus Group of Institutes is our initiative and

our desire to make the most of any individual. We

are going to be responsible for “Imparting

Knowledge” in the most industry relevant method

and ensure that the students imbibe them. The

pedagogy so designed will “Develop Confidence”

of the students and make them industry ready in

the true sense. Just like Lotus flower, though it thrives in

VISION & PEDAGOGY

VISIONLotus Business School harbors an aspiration to work it's way to the pinnacle both

domestically and globally. It proposes to do that by providing the student a

platform to learn, prepare and perform. It aims to nurture the learner to add

value to society at large by achieving excellence and realizing his innate

potential. Lotus Business School would like to take pride in creating Best of

Business Professionals by amalgamation of industry exposure and using global

research as a game changer.

PEDAGOGY

Lotus Group has evolved the “learn-apply-learn” model of management

education. The basic theory and philosophy of this pedagogy is to provide

exposure and opportunity to students to put into practice the theories learnt in

the classroom. Weekend workshops are therefore, conducted to give practical

insight. The mentors assigned to the students guide and prepare them for the

next level. Practical exposure is the backbone of the curriculum & therefore

Industrial live projects & assignments are highly sacrosanct.

The skills of students are shaped and sharpened during their final semester, prior

to Industry internship which is mandatory. The students actually get a feel of the

corporate world and opportunity to also self evaluate their capabilities. The

assignments are “paid internships” wherein the students earn while they learn.

Hence, the amalgamation of knowledge and on-the-job training stands out to be a

winning combination for a successful Manager empowering the student to face

challenges in the corporate world.

The national employability report compiled by Aspiring Minds revealed that only 17.45

percent of technical graduates in the country are ready to be employed. If that was not

enough, a recent survey conducted by FICCI and the World Bank revealed that 64 per

cent of the surveyed employers were not satisfied with the quality of engineering

graduates' skills. Similarly even at the Management Level students the story remains

almost the same and the Employers are also looking for better skills.

What Does this Mean? Does it mean that there is no hiring or the youth are not capable?

Does it Mean that Un-Employability has increased? Absolutely not!!. The people have been absorbed but there is a lack of

skill/orientation/relevant attitude to do the job/work as desired by the employer. The

Problem is that the working talent or as we say the “Demographic Dividend” of India is

highly talented but raw and lacks focus and direction.

It is therefore paramount that a proper training is given to create a direction and a

culture of achievement. This is equally apt for all the corporate and Industries and

SME's. Unless the goals and efforts of the team are aligned, no corporate is going to

succeed.

Lotus Training Division is an attempt to bridge this gap. The Training Division looks into

the gaps that exist in any organization and accordingly suggests the bridging based on

this need gap analysis. This Bridging is also executed by our team of renowned trainers.

The Training Division boasts of team comprising of individuals who have been at the top

helm of organizations (at GM,VP,CEO level also) and also of Alumni of Best of the B-

Schools in India.

Ably supported by the R& D Centre, the Training Division has come out with the solutions

for Market research and Strategy based on research solutions for organizations.

It is our endeavor to ensure effective and value added training given to all

organizations, for Profit or Not for Profit Organisations —so that together we create a

“I am not writing this testimonial for any personal gain but I do feel that I owe this college a great deal. Lotus Business School, brought out the creative person out of me, encouraged me to think out of the box. The faculties and staff helped me to excel in academics and get good grades, they were always a helping hand. This institute has given me great opportunities to broaden my knowledge beyond the field of studies and has also helped me explore myself. Greatful to be a part of Lotus Business School"

Pushkarni KhadeMBA 2012-14

"Lotus business school has given me a platform for identifying and developing my skills, my competencies and helping me to grow as a professional. It has always encouraged its students , may it be in sports or in academics or in events. It has always been successful in giving us enough exposure. The teachers and the staff of Lotus Business School has always been supportive enough and have also guided us and made possible that our queries have been solved. I would like to thank Lotus Business School for everything that has been provided for us to mould ourselves and helped us in our journey from being an amateur to a professional"

The environment in the placement cell (Mini Corporate World would be the right term) has taught me to be innovative and meticulous in approach to any strategic goals set for a professional. Whether the work scope is within domain of expertise or not, a proper approach can solve all issues in hand. It's because of the knowledge i gained in Lotus Business School. It was the support of my teachers/ mentors which motivated me to THINK BIG & GET BIG. Thank You Lotus Business School for bringing a positive attitude to face challenges”

"Taking admission in lotus was very crucial decision for me. But after taking admission and as time passed I felt that Lotus is a place for me wherein I have come to know myself better. The exposure and experience that lotus provided cannot be compared to any other B-school. It has given me an opportunity to learn and gain practical knowledge. These 2 years taught me that life is not about being extraordinary but about being consistent and committed to self and the people you care.At last lotus has been a life changing experience for me. My decision to come to Lotus was denitely correct."
