• Self-directed learning; emphasis on independent work or group

projects

• The student is responsible for making sure all requirements are

fulfilled

• Athena is the learning platform used at SBS. Each course (except courses at

Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship) has its own Athena-site.

• Have to be register in Ladok to get access.

• All communication about course through Athena.

• Find your schedule, syllabus, study guide, course material and assignments.

• Contact the International Office if you want to add a

new course – this cannot be done by students. You

will not be able to change your course for period A

• Course changes period B, C and D or dropping

courses.

Exams

• Each course is examined differently; for some, the entire

grade is based on the final exam

• You must register for your exams ahead of time in

Ladok, usually 10 days in advance

• If you fail an exam, it is possible to retake it once.

• It is NOT possible to retake a passed exam to receive

a higher grade.

• If you would like to discuss your grade, please contact your

teacher directly, we are unable to assist with these

matters.

Transcripts/

Certificate of registration

• Only courses in which you have received a passing

grade for (E or higher) will appear on your transcript.

• All students can download and print out the Official

Transcript of Records through Ladok by end of

semester

• If you want the Official Transcript of Records signed

and stamped and sent to your home university then

you have to apply for this.
