2. RemovethemetalDINsleeveandtrimringfromtheaftermarketradio.

3. SlidetheDINcageintothekitandsecurebybendingthemetallockingtabsdown.

4. Slidetheaftermarketradiointothecageuntilitclicksintoplace.(FigureA)

5. Locatethefactorywiringharnessinthedash.MetrarecommendsusingthepropermatingadapterfromMetraorAXXESS.

6. Reconnectthenegativebatteryterminalandtesttheaftermarketradioforproperoperation.

7. Mounttheaftermarketradioassemblyintothesub-dashwiththefactoryscrewspreviouslyremoved.(FigureB)Note: FortheMalibu,usethecentermountingpositions.

8. Reassemblethedashinthereverseorderofdisassemblytocompletetheinstallation.
