Celestial Moli del Salt Slab © 2016 by Lance Carlyle Carter  Abstract: The inscriptions on the Moli del Salt Slab appear to be based on ancient asterisms, signs, or constellations. It is believed that this inscription pictures a paleolithic campsite with huts. The inscription is shown over star charts calculated for 13,600 BC. The Moli del Salt Slab is shown here:

 “Our goal in this study is to present an engraving on a schist slab from a Magdalenian layer of the Molí del Salt site, which shows a series of dome­shaped motifs that can be interpreted as huts. We suggest that this engraving may be regarded as a naturalistic depiction of a hunter­gatherer campsite. This interpretation will be discussed using different kinds of ethnographic data.”   ­ Marcos García­Diez, Manuel Vaquero
