Accomodation Villa Maria is an agriturismo as you don't oftensee it anymore. Located in Minori, just 2kilometers from the Amalfi Coast, this villa isthe ideal place for a relaxing stay., Enjoy thesouthern Italian hospitality and the enchantingview. The site also has a lemon grove, where'Tutta la famiglia' works during the pickingseason. In addition, they can of course alsocook deliciously here and you will undoubtedlyget acquainted with the local products. Withonly six rooms, it is small-scale and has aninformal atmosphere. Each room has its ownterrace with a pergola of lemon trees andgrapevines and sea views. The beach of Minoriis a 15-minute walk, or by Vespa, you are therein less than 5 minutes. This village is small but alot less touristy than Amalfi or Positano. Anideal location to enjoy the Amalfi Coast.

The first day you drive all day straight along theunique road along the cliffs of the Amalfi Coastto finally arrive in Minori. First, we will make ashort stop in Sant'Agata sue due Golfi, a cutevillage overlooking both the sea of Naples andSalerno. Here you can have ice cream orcappuccino and talk about your first kilometers.Around lunch, you will arrive in Positano, thepicturesque village glued to rocks, an absolutemust-see on the Amalfi Coast. In high seasonthis village is overrun with tourists, and sinceeverything is narrow, it can feel hectic.

Ready? Set? go, Andiamo! The best thing about the Vespa is that you candrive practically to the historic center, whereyou park the Vespa at a paid parking lot to walkto the boulevard. Above Positano lies thevillage of Montepertuso, a serene town fromwhere you have a great view over the Amalficoast. Here you can really unwind becausemany tourists cannot get here by bus or car.We then continue on the 55-kilometer coastalroad, with a break in Praiano for a refreshingswim. Tonight you will stay in the picturesqueMinori at Agriturismo Villa Maria.

Sorrento - Positano - Praiano - Minori (40 km)day 2

Dag 3

This day will again amaze you, full of beautifulroads, far-reaching views, and photogenicvillages. In the morning, you will set sail fromMinori towards Amalfi, the cultural andhistorical heart of the Amalfi Coast. This townwas once a leading trading center of theMediterranean, despite its small size. Amalficonsists of a relatively flat main street withmany shops. The eye-catcher of Amalfi is theimposing cathedral in the middle of thesquare.

After a cup of coffee or a stroll through Amalfitown, we get back on the Vespa to take a mountain road. Here lies pretty Ravello, another place with a rich history and the realhighlight of this day. You can visit the gardensof Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone. From hereyou have the best view of the entire AmalfiCoast! Many tourists stop at Ravello to returnto the coastal road, however, we travelthrough the mountains to discover a realauthentic part of the Amalfi coast. Here youwill find the village of Tramonti, which means'land between the mountains'. A quiet andgreen village where you can escape thehectic pace of the busy coastline.

Minori - Amalfi - Ravello - Tramonti - Maiori - Minori (50,1 km)

The first part will be over theCostiera Amalfitana before taking the exittowards Furore, an undiscovered gem on theAmalfi coast. This place is also called "il paesedipinto", the painted village. The houses alongthe winding road are full of beautiful muralsthat give this village color throughout the year.Every year, artists from all over the worldcome to Furore to get inspired by the AmalfiCoast and make new paintings. After the lastlookout point, we drive through the mountainson our way to Castellemare di Stabbia, thelittle brother of Naples.
