Accessing Digital Content on Engrade. There are two was that digital content is accessed via Engrade: Single Sign-On (SSO): This allows teachers and students to access all of their digital content through Engrade without having to re-authenticate or use separate login information. All content available via SSO is accessible on the left navigation within each class, per the image on the left. Repository via Lessons Grid: Specific resources can also be assigned to students through the Lessons Grid. Any resource available in Lessons can also be added to Lesson Plans or appear in Course Maps. As well, these resources are available in the Repository. The Lessons grid allows you to organize the materials you plan to teach onto an easy-to-use weekly calendar grid. From here, you can easily assign content to your entire class or to custom groups of students. For detailed instructions on how to assign content via an Activity Tile, please see the Add Activities to a Lesson Grid article available on support.engrade.com and details provided further in this document.

Accessing and Assigning Content from the Lessons Grid 1. Login to Engrade. 2. Select a class. 3. Select Lessons on the left sidebar. 4. Select Add Activities tile to the right

of a calendar date to add content to the selected date.

5. Select students or a group of students. a. If you have previously created a

student group to which you want to assign content, you may select the group name from the drop-down menu next to Student Group.

b. You can also filter your student list by student performance using the Performance Indicator drop-down menu.

c. To assign content to all students in your class, check the box next to All Students in Class.

d. To select a group of students, click on the small arrow icon to the right of Students to reveal a list of all students in your

 

 

 

 

     

 

 

     

class. Check the box next to each student to which you would like to assign the test. If you wish to deselect a student, click on the box to the right of their name to remove the check mark from the box.

e. To save the group you selected, check the box next to Save Group? and enter a name for your group in the field next to Group Name.

6. Select Choose Activities to proceed to the next screen.

 

 

 

 

     

 

 

     

Assign Everyday Math Content

1. To assign content from McGraw Hill Everyday Math select the Everyday Math content tile to browse available content. All content listed in this window is filtered according to the grade level and subject area of your class.

2. Check the box to the left of each item you wish to assign to your class.

3. To assign the selected item(s) to multiple classes, select the ‘Add to multiple classes’” box.

4. If you would like the item(s) to be visible to students, select the ‘Visible to Students’ box

5. Select Add Items to assign the items to your class.

 

 

 

 

     

 

 

     

Assign materials from course maps 1. Course map folders that are

aligned with your class’s subject area and grade level will be listed.

2. Select a course map to add materials from the folder to the Lessons grid for your class.

 

 

 

 

     

 

 

     

1. Activities from the selected course map are organized by unit. Select the small arrow icon to the right of a unit folder to view materials from the selected unit.

2. Check the box to the left of each item you wish to assign to your class. a. To set a particular sequence

for the selected items, check the ’Sequence items?’ box.

b. To assign the item to multiple classes, select the ‘Add to multiple classes?’ box.

c. To make the item visible to students, select the ‘Visible to Students?’ box.

3. Select the green Select Items button to assign the selected activities to your class.
