You are aware that the competent authority has decided to observe the Students'

Week throughout the State from 01 .01.2022 to 07.01 .2022. The State level programme would

be observed on 03.01 .2022 at Netaji lndoor Stadium, Kolkata, in presence of Hon'ble Chief

Minister of West Bengal. The guideline of activities and programmes to be followed week long,

by the Schools, Colleges, Educational lnstitutions, Universities and District HQ is attached

herewith for your ready reference.

Sludents' week would be observed in o befitting monner throughout the Stote from

Ot.Ot.2o22to 07.01 .2022, os decided by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengol. The

progromme would be celebroted of every School, College / Educolionollnstilute ond

Universily level. Similorly, the progromme sholl be held of District ond Stote levels. The

Siote level progromme sholl be held on 03.01.2022.The week shollfocus on oworeness

of the students regording different beneficiol schemes implemented by the Stole

Governmenl, focilitoling ond mobilizing beneficiories of Sludenl Credit Cord scheme,

Swomi Vivekonondo Merit cum Meons scholorship, Aikyoshree, Pre ond Post Melric

Scholorship, dislribulion of Texl Books & Subhecchq Borlo of HCM ond olher culfuro!

octivilies os menlioned below. All events should be orgonized following Covid

protocols, with proper sonitizotion of the institutions / venue.

1. Commitleeformolion:

ln order to celebrote the week long progromme in o befitting monner, The District

Mogistrote sholl leod the initiotives ond engoge eoch stoke holders to ensure smooth

ond successful implementotion of the week long progromme. Additionol District

Mogistrote (Educotion), oll district ond sub district level educotion officers will leove

no stone unturned to ensure its success.

Tentotive Schedule :

The week long progromme of School/ College / University level will be held

from 0l .01.2022 to 07.01 .2022 ond it sholl be orgonized in sioggered time-slots

eoch doy in order to mointoin Covid norms. Progromme would be tentotively

for 2 hours eoch doy (Preferobly from 1 1.00 om to 1.00 pm or os per

convenience of the outhority of the Educotion lnstitution).

At school level, on the first doy, the Heod of the lnstitution moy leod the

ossembly in open oir or Assembly Holl, mointoining sociol distoncing. Proyers

moy be followed by one minute silence in remembronce of oll Covid worriors

who lost their lives in the line of duty. Hol will give o speech thonking students

for their perseveronce ond for coping up with such difficult times for the lost

two yeors. ln respective closses, teochers will speok obout the importonce of

Nodol Teocher designoted for observotion of Students' week.
