THE RADIOThe radio is a way to transmit information or any kind of sound from one place to another over a long distance. A machine that sends radio signals is called transmitter, while a machine that pick up the information is called receiver

The radio works with something call it electromagnetism waves; these waves transmit music, conversation, pictures and data invisibly through the air, often a million miles. A lot of devices that we use every day work with this waves. Things like communication and navigation would be impossible without electromagnetism waves

The radio was discovered by experimental work on the connection between electricity and magnetism began around 1820. This investigation culminates in a theory of electromagnetism waves developed by James Maxwell, which predicted the system of electromagnetism in 1873. As the same time many people was

experimented with wireless connection. The first systematic and unequivocal transition of electromagnetism was performed by Hertz in 1887.

In 1895 the radio was invented by Gugliemo Marconi whose transmit Morse code and he called the wireless telegraph, known as the radio

Radio has transformed society. When radio arrived in 19 century, few people were communicated. With the radio invention the mass medio changed the people learn about occurred invents early and faster, and people can express and communicated ideas easily with other people around the world

Radio today is completely different from 15 years ago. The rise of social media, online networking and new technologies has allowed people to create their own content. This make that people around the world doesn’t listen any more radio, and in a future the radio will decrease because people prefer listen to their own mp3 music than radio.
