• Download app from the app store (free of charge)

• Open app and choose to operate as a participant or a presenter• Presenters create

For Presenters Only

• Presenters must sign up for a free account at the Poll Everywhere website (polleverywhere.com)

• To create a poll, presenters must sign in to the app using this account information

For Presenters Only

• Choose to create a new poll at the bottom of the screen

For Presenters Only

• Choose what type of poll to create

• Type in the poll question and answer choices (depending on the question type)

• Share account name or keyword with participants

For Participants Only

• Choose the “I’m Participating” option on the home screen

• Enter the account name in the “Join a Presentation” or “Respond by Keyword” dialog box, or choose the account from “Recent Presentations” if it has been used before

For Participants Only

• The open question(s) will appear automatically

• Choose the best answer choice, or compose a response depending on the question type

For Participants Only

• Poll results will display and update automatically as participants key in responses

For Presenters Only

• Presenters can control when to close the questioning window by selecting the lock icon

For Presenters Only

• For constructed response questions, the presenter can control which answers to show by selecting the gavel icon and choosing to “show” or “hide” each
